We heard water from our upstairs guest bathroom coming down through the walls. I called our regular plumber who was tied up with a big job and recommended I call someone else quickly. Called Highsmith and Daughters and they were extremely responsive, set up and sent confirmations of when they would be out and even got a call about an hour before schedule to give us and ETA.

Trenton and Andrew were great. Explained everything in detail and were able to fix within an hour.

I had my gas shut off because of a gas leak. I started calling around for estimates, and was being told that I needed to hire a leak finder company to find the leak before a plumber could fix the leak. The woman that answered the phone for Highsmith told me that what the gas company phone representative reported didn't make sense, that I should call back to ask for a supervisor to give me more details. I did so, and the next day got told that the leak was probably in an gas line for gas fixtures that were never installed. So if I just capped this line, it would save me the cost of hiring a leak finder.

After I located this rogue line, I called around for estimates for capping it. I got a wide range of estimates for capping the line, so I called them back to see if they were all estimating the same scope of repairs. Highsmith's plumber told me what he planned to do, saying that he had done this same repair for other customers in Simi, most recently his brother-in-law. The estimate was in the middle of the pack, and they had experience with this very issue, so I picked Highsmith.

He arrived on the scheduled day a few minutes before the appointment window. He fixed the issue in 15-20 minutes, and even carted away a length of the cut pipe that the high bidder was planning to charge me extra to remove. And because he did it so quickly, I was able to get the gas company to come out that night to restore my service. Very satisfied with my experience with this company.

plummer. We had a gas leak in the middle of a big storm, so we frantically tried to find a plumber. They were quick to respond and get someone to help us in Simi Valley. Last week we used this plumber for the first time! We were informed our shower may have been leaking to the unit below us and I called immediately hoping it wasn't bad and to get it fixed asap!

The gentleman who came out the next day was very professional, respectful and kind explaining what he could see just from our unit. He did say if anything further happens he would probably need access to the below unit but I am happy to report that there has been no leaking or dripping since he came out!

He was here all of 10 mins and the price they charged was the best I've ever heard of for a plumber service!

My wife and I moved to Simi about 18 months ago and have been using H&D Plumbers the whole time. They are truly amazing, quick response times, professional standards and well worth their price. Our water heater started leaking so I gave Highsmith & Daughters Plumbing a call first thing in the morning. They answered the phone right away and gave me estimates over the phone. They send out Trenton, who took the time out of his day to come check out what was going on. He arrived within 30 min, assessed the situation and was completely up front and honest with what the work would entail. We booked him to come back the next day to install a new tankless water heater. He arrived on time, was completely professional, and it was clear that he cares about his customers.
