I've used them twice now and they are reliable, they communicate well, and they do good work. They've cleaned and inspected my furnace, and fixed my water heater vent so it would exhaust properly. I had that done last year by someone else and it wasn't done right. These guys fixed it properly.

I've been working with Mike and his team for more than 5 years now. From replacing a furnace in our rental property to multiple fixes in our home, Mike has always shot straight and delivered. Recently we embarked on a full remodel of both our bathrooms. It took almost 4 trips to make everything happen and despite changes in scope, they made everything happen, it looks perfect, and at a reasonable price. Samantha has always been a pleasure to work with as well. Great group of people to work with and can't wait to bring them out again for the second bathroom and then the kitchen next year!

While they were courteous the 5 hour long diagnosis job - resulted in a bill of $943 and they were unable to fix the problem. They pointed out things that were supposedly not done correctly and proceeded to quote me the price on doing what I should do with those and then after checking the pressure, said they didn't need to do it after all (at least they were honest about that). Then, after they put everything back together, I come to find they reinstalled the shower fixtures incorrectly so I can't get hot water and they neglected to turn the water back on under one of the sinks. At their hourly rate that was INEXCUSABLE. I'm sick of so-called professionals like these taking advantage of people and getting away with it.

Expect to pay for their mistakes! Get it in writing b/c they don't stick to their word!

We have had this company out 3 times to do repair work in our home. The first two times were great. The third was a DISASTER! They quoted replace a toilet that was leaking, fix the old one & move to a different bathroom, and to repair a sink that was partly separated from the granite and fix the plumbing underneath that was leaking. They assured us before starting that they ""do this all the time"" and ""if you know what you are doing it can be done right"" Well, within an hour of starting the project, they BROKE the sink, literally in half! We are willing to let folks fix their mistakes, so we didn't panic. They found a replacement sink, fortunately that one was still made b/c our granite was custom cut for that exact sink. They picked it up, then resumed work. In the process of ""cutting a little bit"" of our cabinet, to make it fit, they destroyed our sink base completely. The saw they used left gouges in the frame and the door, they ripped the front frame OFF of the cabinet, leaving a gap in the bottom of the cabinet, and they left large gaps in the bottom and back of the cabinet leaving exposed floor, pipes and drywall. Again, thinking they would fix their errors, we let it go until they came back to finish the next day. The adhesive had to cure overnight and they were coming back to finish re-attaching everything. The next day they came and attached everything but my husband could not be there, so he called them ahead of time and told them we would have to discuss the cabinet damage and they would have to come back when he could be there to review it before we paid. But we could not go without our sink another day. They were agreeable and left the bill upon finishing.

That's when the real problems started! What should have been a $1600 project for all three parts of the job, (on the high end, we were given a range quote) suddenly turned into $2300! Really?! they broke our sink and are faced with an expensive cabinet repair so they padded the invoice! They actually had the nerve to CHARGE us for the replacement sink after they broke ours! They up-charged us for the new toilet, for an upgrade they never told us would cost more. They added a trip charge that was never discussed. They added extra charges for the drain work that was supposed to be included in the original bid. In addition, they would not even accept the level of damage they did to the entire structure of the cabinet. They claimed they had to do that to get the new sink in. Well if they had not broken the old sink, they would not have had to put a new one in. Our max price for this sink repair was supposed to be $800, including drain work. That was a lot of money for this repair. My husband even hesitated, telling them he wasn't considering taking the sink out b/c he was afraid it might break, he planned to have it pushed up in place and re-glued with blocks to support. During the estimate Mike assured us ""if you know what you are doing and do it right, there will be no problems"" Then claimed he had no choice but to cut the cabinet so it wasn't his fault, the sink was too big. Really? He knew what size the sink and the cabinet were before he started the work. He never advised us that if the sink broke we would have to pay for it and cut out our cabinet, destroying it in the process...and we would have to pay for that too. Instead he billed us $1403 for a sink repair that was supposed to cost $800 tops. Then he padded other parts of the invoice to make up for what was sure to be a profit loss with repair to the cabinet. Plus we likely have a $500-$700 cabinet repair to do now! Hmm...if we had known this project would cost us up to $2100 just for the sink portion, we would have said NO! $800 was a lot for us to spend, but he said he could do it ""right"" so we agreed to spend it. We would have had a different answer with a $2100 expense!
No, its not our fault you broke the sink, & destroyed our cabinet. We settled for less, but not enough to cover the cost of our damaged cabinet. Not to mention the huge dusty mess they left in my kitchen. Failure to communicate that they would be doing granite grinding that left a fine black dust over every surface. I even offered to move my things and he said it was not necessary. Should I even mention their failure to wear booties in my house after the first few minutes? and leaving goo and debris on the floor of each bathroom they worked in? The company description says that they are honest and fair with good communication, this is not our experience. We are not unreasonable people. We just expect companies to keep to their word, and own their mistakes. *update: My husband DID leave a good review after the first two times, he took it down after this. Blatant lie that he charged us less than the quote, ""free sink"" b/c they broke ours! Really poor response to this problem!

Very professional. Arrived when promised. Did a good job. Installed a new faucet for my Insta-Hot, and replaced fill valves on 2 toilets. Would hire them again in an instant. Both Mike and Kyle did a great job.

Prompt and helpful scheduling by Samantha. Even offering to locate plumbers with earlier availability. Kyle arrived ahead of schedule, was courteous and considerate of our home, and addressed or tree root blockage in a little more than an our.

Thank you High Water!

They provided a bid for the commercial remodel work and then didn't show up when scheduled. They didn't return phone calls and completely ignored me. I'm assuming that they discovered an existing condition during the site visit the day before they were supposed to start work that scared them into not honoring their proposal. They didn't even have the common courtesy to let me know what happened and I wasted time and energy trying to contact them before moving on and finding another plumber for the job (which was then behind schedule).

John was prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. He even walked me step-by-step through the process of clearing my drain and how much to expect to pay for the tool so that I could do it myself in the future.

John inspected a water heater for me last summer and gave the homeowner I worked with excellent service. He's very honest and doesn't build up fear just to increase the bill. I'm sorry I forgot to post this sooner, but I rememebed when I ran into him last week.

I hired this company (Michael Hessel) to install a water submeter in a condominium unit. They cut into the main water line without checking that there was still water flow into the unit (yes!), even I could have checked first. Result? flooding and damage that they tried to repair. But it does not end there!... After they installed the meter with pressure fittings and NO SOLDERING, the fitting became loose after 2 weeks causing more flooding damage to the ground level of the unit. I had to hire a crew to do the cleanup/demo/reconstruction that is running at $7K... Michael is no longer returning my call... Very unprofessional! Do not ever hire them.
