Literally a life saver and amazing work. I had a toilet tank that somehow cracked in the middle of the night in July and sent water gushing out. Once the water was soaked up and turned off, I had to wait a while because a water mitigation service had to come and dry everything out.

I tried CroppMetcalfe and a couple of other local plumbers and they not only highballed me in pricing, but their customer service was absolutely atrocious. I was literally at my wits end thinking I'd never have anyone to put in this new toilet. I had originally bought a Kohler fancy toilet but wanted to follow the advice of Herb from High Tide and returned it and bought an American Standard VorMax and I LOVE it. He took out the old toilet and put the new one in. His work was amazing.

He even carted the old one away which was so nice. I'll be calling him again soon to install another new toilet in my master bedroom. Call him. Super professional super clean and highly recommended.

Herb answered my call late on a weekday (just before they closed). I had run into a snag in a toilet repair that I couldn't handle. He first attempted to explain how I could do the repair on my own (kudos for honesty and integrity here!) but quickly realized I needed help. He made time to come the next morning. He arrived when he said he would, quickly made the repair, and charged a reasonable rate. He even gave me a quote on another issue I need to take care of and put it in writing. Herb was friendly, professional, and did excellent work on short notice. I will use his company again and would recommend him without hesitation
Just had Herb out again. Replaced my shut off valve and pressure regulator valve. Arrived on time, quick assessment of issues, and work done quickly and well. He wore a mask the whole time and The cost was as quoted and fair. Thanks again for excellent service!

Came home to find out water was leaking from my wall. In a panic, my wife called Herb at High Tide. He came over despite the late hour, fixed the problem quickly, and charged a very reasonable rate. He was very nice and knowledgeable and did a great job. I highly recommend giving him a call if something comes up.

When we scheduled, we asked if we could be called before he comes because we have an infant and a dog so it is very helpful if we know when to expect company. He agreed and did not give us a time but said he would call first. So I took off work and planned to be home all day and the next thing I know, my dog is freaking out because he is at our door at 8am without having ever called. I was feeding our baby so I quickly threw on a shirt and by the time I got to the door, he was pulling out of the driveway. I called but he didn't answer the phone. I texted him and he said we will have to reschedule for another day.

A few hours later, after I had written this review, he called me saying he could come back, but I had already called another plumber since he had said we'd have to reschedule and I can't keep taking off work.

Great experience with Herb and High Tide Plumbing. Herb responded to an after hours call within minutes, came out the next day, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Herb was accommodating, professional and easy to communicate with. His price was reasonable as well, and didn't even change me for the initial consultation. Herb is an outstanding master plumber. He replaced our water heater back in April 2018. When he came out to check it out, he said this looks pretty new. It was obvious he wasn't trying to sell me a new water heater. I was adamant I wanted it replaced because it was 20 years old but he reassured me there was still some life to it. At that point, I knew I was dealing with an honest service provider. The quote he gave me was more than reasonable. His customer service rocks and his integrity is rare in this industry. He genuinely cares about his customers and provides you the utmost plumbing care. Last week, my pipes were vibrating and knocking and he quickly dx the problem. He recommended that I contact danze to get the valve cartridge to save some money and he'll come out to replace it. Thanks again, Herb for saving me a week of groceries. He refused to let me pay him and said he'll be back when I get the cartridge for him to replace. So unheard of. Before he walked out the door, I asked him about my toilet. I told him about the continuous run. Herb runs to his truck and grabs a new flapper and replaces it within less than 5 minutes. & again, no charge. Herb is my go to plumber - his work is top notch quality combined with reliability and trustworthiness. I'm so glad we found him!

Solid, Affordable, Punctual, Quality Service from Herb at High Tide Plumbing. Requested main shutoff valve and Pressure Reducing Valve Replacement and Herb came in right at his estimated quote over the phone of $385. I have some experience so I was able to give a detailed work order request a week prior to his arrival. Herb was early for my 10am Friday appointment, made me feel at ease with his competence and knowledge as a master plumber. Herb made the necessary repairs within an hour and with the work checked and inspected, all solder joints looked of high quality with no leaks. Quality parts were used and I would highly recommend Herb for anyone that has any plumbing needs.
