Colluded with contractor in overcharging. Wasn't forward in itemization of pricing. Said bill for one pipe was so high as he had to buy equipment to bust concrete.

I had an emergency and called to schedule an appointment to have a plumber come out I was given the time and a date and was told the appointment was confirmed I asked about payment and was told that I would get the invoice at the time of appointment and would be able to confirm repairs once the technician was there. 4 hours before the appointment I received a called saying that I had to give payment information or the appointment would be cancel. This was not what I was told initially and I explained that I was not informed of this and that I was told I would be called when the technician arrived. I am very busy and have a scheduled to keep, I made time for the appointment, this is not a good business practice if the customer ask the question before making the appointment you should honor what you say. I also verified everything else that I was told to make sure that it was still accurate. Honestly is a big thing with dealing with a company and if you can't trust there word then how do you trust here work. I will not do business with a company that can't be honest and keep their word. During the appointment time no one showed up the window was 2 hours so about 15 mins after the end of the window I called to see if there was a tech still coming. I was notified that the my were running behind. So I asked if they know about what time they will be arriving I was told about another two hours maybe. As I stated before I have a busy schedule and I took time out for this a curtsy call would have been nice to have so that I was aware instead of me calling and asking to find out. The tech arrived did look at my issue he was a pleasant breath of fresh air after speaking with the company he works for. He gave me lots of different options for proposed solutions that he didn't know if it would fix the problem, he could not guarantee the work even tho the estimate stated 30 day warranty and all were very expensive. If I had to used this company again I would request him because he did take the time to explain the situation and he made the effort to communicate with his company to get the answers I needed. One point to mention is the invoices/ estimates, it gives very good detail of the work but it does not break out the cost of material and cost of labor which for me I actually do need on an any invoice or estimate. I was told I could get and it would be sent to me that day but I didn't hit device any invoices do I called the following day and yet again I was missed informed. I was told there system is unable to provide an invoice with estimated material cost. I work with many professional companies in different states and this one is by far one of the most unpleasant interactions I have had. When it comes to proving accurate information to the customer. They make it seem as if the customer is at fault when they don't provide the necessary information and they also make a lot of assumptions instead of listening.
