I had High Performance out to my house for a routine furnace and air conditioning cleaning. About 5 minutes into the cleaning I was told I had a cracked heat exchanger in my furnace. The only ""test"" that was done was the use of an inspection camera (no readings for CO). At that point there was no need to continue the cleanings since a furnace is best replaced when it has a cracked heat exchanger. I paid for the full cleaning of the furnace although it was never completed. I would have been happy to pay a fee for the ""house call"". I had a company come in and replace my furnace and once the furnace was removed we were able to completely inspect the heat exchanger up close and found there were no cracks in the heat exchanger at all, as a matter of fact, I was told it was in great shape! $6000 dollars later I notified the company by e-mail that they should be absolutely sure of their examination assessment especially when it is as serious as a cracked heat exchanger. That was two weeks ago and I have not heard back. Since trust is extremely important when dealing with companies I could not in good faith recommend this company.

UPDATE: HEAP approved me for a window unit AC in June 2022. It wasn't so hot at the time so I didn't have to use my AC. July it got really hot and humid so I turned on my AC. I allowed it to run for 3 hours non stop and my apartment wasn't getting cool at all. I decided to call HPHAC and spoke with Megan. Megan said she's get someone to call me back in a few minutes. Well the few minutes ended up being a bit longer. Anyway to get to the point. Today two HPHAC employees showed up and corrected the adjustment on my AC Remote. My apartment feels very comfortable and cool now. Thanks High Performance Heating and cooling for keeping me cool and comfortable. You guys are the best!

We started using High Performance because it was a mixed bag with other HVAC companies. This year I called for a consultation about the pros and cons of getting one more year out of our almost 30 year old base model Goodman furnace. The service tech. who came out was Joe Z. and he did a great job explaining all of the details involved. There was never any up selling or pressure. It was a very positive experience.

Do not call this company. They take advantage of old ladies and try to sell new furnaces with scare tactics. Do not call this company, they are not trustworthy.

Tyler was very personable and helpful when he came to look at our furnace and quote us for a new one.
While people from other companies charged us for quotes and couldn't come back for days - High Performance gave us a free quote that was much more reasonable, gave us a space heater to use in the meantime at no charge (you just give it back afterwards), and were back the next day to install a new furnace. I cannot tell you how grateful we were for that space heater they loaned us, as the temps dipped into the teens that night.
The team of three got the old furnace out and the new one installed in a very timely manner.
I definitely recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

In the event you need to call a Mechanical contractor its not because things are going great. My water heater failed late on a sunday evening and the owner picked up the service line. He walked me through the process of turning it off and draining. They offered a late night service but instead showed up first thing the next day and my water heater was installed professionally by the afternoon and the technicians cleaned up after themselves and were personable who cared about my needs. They assisted with obtaining the manufacturer warranty and my only cost was for the labor to install. These things may seem simple but in a world of fly by night contractors go a long way! I would strongly recommend them in the future to clients, friends and family for their HVAC needs.

Called these guys at the end of last winter because our furnace was acting up. The tech rigged our furnace so it would last a few days and that's all it lasted. He informed us He'd be calling with a price on the part we needed and we never heard from them since.

Called to have Air Ducts Cleaned and service call on Furnace as it was acting funny. Duct cleaning went fine, was affordable, and gentlemen were thorough. Service guy checked out furnace in the morning and said that a part was on the fritz and needed to be replaced. Gave quote for new part ($833) and a quote for new furnace ($3k+). When the guys were done with duct cleaning they informed me that now that they are done, the furnace no longer turns on and I definitely need that part fixed. Left me with clean ducts and furnace that doesn't work (with pregnant wife and a 1 year old at home). Called my HVAC guy who came out that night. He said I certainly don't need a new furnace and he suspects that the part did needed to be replaced but they fried it while looking at it to get me to buy replacement part or even worse whole new furnace. He came the next day and installed new part......for $300.

This place is all marketing and new trucks.......classic bait and switch. Call someone who doesn't have the overhead of their marketing budget to cover by pulling these tactics.

Will never get my business again.

Have radiant heating, system is only 4 yrs old, boiler went out, they came out to the house and told us that it couldnt be repaired and that we needed to replace it for $4200.oo minimum. Needless to say we got a second opinion, just needed to be cleaned, working great now (BTW- told us that couldnt be done either)
