We needed to replace a toilet that had cracked. I reached out to Phil and he responded the next day with his availability. He came out the next day and replaced the toilet. We chatted and he counseled me on what to do to prevent a major leak if we weren't around at the townhouse for any extended time.

I found him to be responsive, a good communicator, and a contractor that did good work for a fair price.

Phil not only was responsive, answered my calls, but went out of his way to attend to an active leak same day. He went back over in the evening to make sure everything was perfect. He was professional and knowledgeable. He's very kind and patient as well.

I called to inquire about a price on a new water heater. I spoke to Phil, the owner. I said I wasn't sure if I needed a new water heater but mine looks good but has a date written on it if 2004. I told Phil it is a Bradford and White. He gave me a price that seemed very fair but said if it wasn't leaking and no rust showing, these water heaters regularly get 25 years of use. I decided to wait another year or so to replace mine.
The next time I need a plumber, Phil will be my first call.

I was installing a dishwasher and ran into a problem with an old difficult connection. I contacted Higerd plumbing and got a same day appointment. Plumber arrived on time, he looked at the problem, and quickly came up with a very effective work around. He had all the parts needed, and was done in very short order. He even gave the water heater a visual inspection before leaving.

We are so grateful that Phil showed up after hours on a Friday to help solve and repair a major leak at our house. He was prompt, friendly, and made an extra trip on Saturday to finish the repair. He spotted an additional issue (a very rusty main water pipe) which he'll change out early next week. Very much the polished professional!
