Definitely a big NO. Beware businesses of the hidden costs. Make sure that the help is a certified plumber or journeyman. If you like second hand or Mickey Mouse repair call them otherwise find a true professional plumber. Keep in mind though Brian is alright it's his wife who sticks the billing to the consumer.

This is the second time I've used Hick's Plumbing and I have been more than pleased. First time replacing a kitchen faucet and during president's weekend replacing our water heater. Brian responded to my calls immediately, had one of his workers on the job within a day and the work was completed in a timely fashion. And to top things off, his prices were VERY reasonable. I plan to spread the word among my friends!

I called Brian Hicks because my On-Demand-Water-Heater stopped working. The manufacturer listed him as a certified plumber. Over the phone he gave advise that I was able to trouble shoot and fix the issue after our conversation on my own. He called me back to check if I needed further help.
For now my problem is solved AND should I need plumbing in the future, I know to call him. His number is now in my phone!
So impressed with the patience and care he exhibited.

The plumbing work was great. The communication was subpar - last minute cancellations, left the bathroom a bit dirty. He also left the water running when he left. Other than that the toilet worked much better when he began, and I had hot water in the laundry. The plumbing work exceeded my expectations.

I have no idea what this guys deal is. He can't seem to figure out how to use his own phone and starts rattling off some other clients info when I called him, then tells me to hold for 3 minutes, cuts back over on the line with a ""yeah"" and then doesn't respond to a single question I asked him on the phone. I finally just hung up. Completely odd and unprofessional.

Yesterday I discovered that my sewage line was completely blocked, resulting in a sump pump full of undischarged sewage, as a result of work from another plumber. Although I had never been a customer of Hicks Plumbing, Brian Hicks arrived at my home within one hour of my call for help. They found the line, pumped it out, and even found the clean-out which the contractor had buried. We thought we were going to have to move out of the house, but Hicks Plumbing solved this rather significant problem within a few hours. Very professional and trustworthy.

Beware. This man is dangerous. His mis-installation of a tankless water heater caused a serious health threat and cost MANY thousands of dollars to remedy. Other plumbers (in to correct the disaster) just shake their heads in disbelief when shown what was done and what resulted.

It is amazing there are not more reports on Yelp - if you are seriously considering using this guy, definitely make some further inquiries.

I first met Brian Hicks at the gym, and have used his plumbing services several times over the years. His prices are fair', his work is good; he stands behind it and he's always prompt to respond to a call. He does small home projects and large commercial contracting. (He did plumbing for a friend's new restaurant and my friend is very satisfied with the work!)
