What I love most about my job is seeing the astonishment on people's faces, usually men, who believe 'a woman can't handle this,' and then I get to prove them wrong. In an industry mainly led by men, Co-Owner Jathy emphasizes that women can contribute positively with their blend of business insight and compassionate approach.
When asked about managing operations in the field, Jathy states, ""This business is fascinating, and each day presents new challenges in the trades world, but I have never seen myself as a woman in a man's field; instead, I view myself as a partner in a business that requires skilled and talented professionals like me.""

Called for bad supply line valve (36 years old and failed) and failing shower valve. Both replaced by 4 pm same day and the shower valve was difficult to access. Nelson did a great job - careful and thorough.

Good experience with plumbing. Service is expensive, so be prepared to pay for the repair!

No Star!!!! Hi Tech Plumbing & Air Should be called Hi Ripoff Plumbing & Air. These guys are crooks. If you don't have an idea of what your job will cost, or if you live in an expensive area or have grey hair, Do NOT hire this so called family business. The only business they are in is ripping off your family!!! I never write reviews let alone bad ones. However, this was such a blatant try to rip off someone that I have ever seen, I had to WARN you!! I called, they said it would be $89 to send out a tech and if I had work done it would go toward the work. They sent out a Tech. I showed him I needed a hose bid replaced on the back patio and a main water shutoff valve. He said he needs to go to his truck and work out the numbers and will be about 10 min. That should have been the tip-off!!!! Any good plumber could tell you on the spot what the labor would be to replace those 2 valves, plus parts. Even then, most plumbers would know the cost of a 3/4 inch hose bib and a 3/4 inch shutoff valve. So this is where the magic starts. Like OZ behind the curtain pulling the levers. He comes back and says, if you join our yearly service it will be $1,000 plus and get 4 visits a year and a bunch of other crap, but if you just want the two things fixed it will be $970!!! After I picked myself up from the ground in shock, I said you have to be kidding me!! How do you ever justify that $970 price?? I said the parts combined are about $50 and if you charge $100 an hour for labor and it takes you 2 hours which it shouldn't, that's $250, how the hell fo you get to $970? He asked me what I was willing to pay. I wanted to get it done so I said $400. He called his boss and came back and said they can take off $100. I said time for you to go. Couldn't get him out fast enough I was so hot!! So the tech leaves with my $89 check and unknown to me pulls up the street and parks. I then leave the house and see the tech up the street, I pass him and he's on the phone. No sooner than I pass him, I get a call from a manager. What do you want to pay? I said maximum $400. He said they can't do that but would take off another $100. So, already they are $200 lower and the job shouldn't be much more than the $200 they already lowered the estimate by. I then proceed to rip him a new one and go over the same scenario outlined above, parts and labor, $250. Then I tell him his company is a rip off and I will do everything I can on social media to warn people to stay away. In addition, I was going to the Better Business Bureau. He couldn't care less. I usually look at reviews before I hire someone and didn't here. However, after the fact, I did look at the reviews and there are similar complaints. Look at the reviews on YELP, they are real reviews!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! To end the ripoff story, I got a reputable plumber out and he immediately said it would be $180 labor plus parts to do the entire job. The total I paid for the job was $225 compared to the $970 they wanted to charge me!!! Shop around for everything!!! You guys must not have a conscience!!

Horrible time with this company. Called and called after my mention of wanting the halo unit, the kid who put it in didnt know what he was doing obviously. Fast forward months later and another company tells me they didnt even install it correctly. I call and the girl who answers the phones Jennifer dodges my call. I figure my husband can just take it all out because I dont want the headache of them coming back in here and messing even more of our system up. Really bad company, they just wanted the sale.

Great Plumbers here! We love Hi-Tech Plumbing!

Website boasts customer satisfaction guaranteed or they'll fix it for free. Hogwash! After spending $868 in 4/15 to replace a $190 hot water recirculating pump, the exact same problem recurred less than 12 months later. And I only live in Florida six months of the year! Called Hi Tech and they said they only guarantee their work for 100 days, which, they were quick to point out, is listed on the receipt. Ok, my bad, but really? What about that customer satisfaction guarantee on the website? Oh, the pump had to malfunction within the 100 day window? What about the warranty on the pump itself? There is none? You'll send someone out to look at the scorch marks on the wall where the pump is installed for a $39 service call? I'm not going to pay it, I told the woman on the phone, but she scheduled a call. The service tech (who handled himself very professionally) did a simple diagnostic test to see if it was an electrical problem, and his opinion was, the electric was fine, but, yup, that pump sure was fried! I went online and found out the pump was warranteed by the manufacturer. I made a huge fuss. Hi Tech told me they'd be happy not to charge me the $39 service call charge and would replace the pump for $480 after I purchased another pump for $190. They told me that trying to get the manufacturer to make good on the product was a lot of paperwork and the manufacturer usually refused to replace the product. Ah ha! So that's the business model Hi Tech uses! They should go into the medical insurance field. They've got the 'Just Say No' routine down pat. 100% customer satisfaction? I don't think so. Beware!

Really disappointed. I spent $39 to get estimate which would have been adjusted if I decided to use their service. The plummer gave me 2 quotes one replace part with labor for 276 or installing new toilet for 400+. Mind you the toilet I have is only 2 years old. It just happened who installed the toilet originally used wrong part on it. So I got 2 more estimates from different company and they suggest only replace part because toilet is brand new. The estimate was provided free of no charge and that was 135 with parts and labor. Do yourself favor of saving money doing homework to call other guys in area. I guess Hi-Tech must be paying twice more than other companies. I wish I had seen the other 2 review sounds like they rip people off who are in emergency situations.

I hired this company for a commercial plumbing repair. It was expensive, but they seemed sure how to fix it. They were wrong and it got more expensive. They wasted time and continuously demanded immediate payment for a bunch of unreliable worthless guess work. They put a lot of stock in their expertise to justify their egregious pricing, but it's not justified. Read the fine print- very one-sided quote/contract.

Had them come out for an estimate to install a hot water heater They are SHADY gave an estimate $ times what we paid a reputable plumber. They have 4 other complaints with the Better Business Bureau and are unwilling to resolve any situations DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SHADY!

I contacted this company due to it's high google review rating, well this goes to show you that that in itself is NOT a good indicator. We had a tankless water heater to repair/replace at one of our rental properties. The Tech called when he was onsite to collect the diagnosis/estimate fee which I had not issue with as he assured me it would be credited toward the repair, he used an example of $1,700 and that the $162.91 would bring a repair like that to $1,557.09. I told him that this type of repair should only be half that price and he assured me it was only an example. Well, NOT..the price he first quoted was $1,700 less the $162.91 brining it to $1,557.09 so he had already picked out he price to begin with. During our conversation I asked him how much the Tankess Water Heater wast and he gave me a price of $1,447. So I told him we would supply the equipment, would the intall labor be, he then came up with a price of $757. I told him that made no sense and to have his supervisor contact me. The Supevisor called later on and told me that his technician mis-spoke and that he was on the phone when the technician called (But he failed to disclose that he was listening to the call, very unethical and likely illegal.) and that he had expenses and his hourly rate was $155 an hour (50% higher than most plumbers) to travel to the site, then pick up the unit and I told him his Diagnosis/Estimate should have covered that and the balance of the labor should have only been $110. He admited that they may 50% profit on the sale of the unit which goes to """"Labor"""". He then offered me a 10% discount and reduced the estimate to $1,398. Well, a reputible plumber gave an estimate of $350 for the install and together with my cost of the unit of $291 with tax, the actual repair only cost $641. Bottom line, stay far away!
