my wife had called this company (H & H Plumbing) and spoke to a woman about having someone look at our shower. She asked what the problem was and my wife told her our shower has a leaky knob. She said someone could be there this afternoon. To make this short, he looked at the shower plumbing and said it might be fixed for $800 or more if anything else needed done after he'd started. He also said our water heater needed replaced for about $1200. My wife refused to have him do the work because of the cost, he then asked for $100.00 for inspection and $3.00 for using a bank card. The woman NEVER mentioned the $100.00 """"inspection charge"""" to my wife on the phone. A reputable business would tell us what the charges are BEFORE having a workman come. I called the office later to discuss this and the same woman hung up on me. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Yesterday our water meter-reader came to the door and advised us he had discovered a massive water leak in an underground location. We called H and H this morning, and the lovely lady we spoke with said they had a full schedule today, but she would try to juggle some things around to help us with this nasty situation. Well she was successful, and around 2:30 we got a call-back that Dave would be at our home shortly. He arrived within 30 minutes and quickly diagnosed and remedied the problem. Nice guy!!! Plus, the charge was far less than I had anticipated! Happy me. Overall we are thrilled with the responsiveness of this company and they have become our go-to plumbers in time of need.

BE AWARE DON'T GET RIPPED OFF I called H & H Plumbing to snake my toilet that was clogged and was told by their office that it will cost $150.00 for the first hour and $100.00 per hour after that. The plumber Jeremiah was exactly at my house for 1 hour and charged me $266.00. I questioned him why I was paying so much and he told me that the clock starts at the time they are dispatched from where ever they are to the client's house, so I asked him if he was 1 hour away from the location of the appointment, that I had to pay for an extra hour ?? He said YES. I called the owner Greg and spoke with him to find out those charges only applied for customers that live outside of Vero Beach area.( Which is outrages ) he also said that the charge was to be even more because the plumber had to remove the toilet in order to snake. I deal with contractors all the time and if the toilet needs to be removed it should be included in the rate that they gave me and I would pay for parts.He also charged me 30 minutes for the extra 15 minutes that he took to write out the bill and make the phone call to get authorization from his office to charge my credit card, he said if pass the first hour they charge their clients a minimum of half hour even if they only stay 5 minutes ( which in my case the 15 minutes exceeded was because he was writing the bill) The owner is not a cooperative person and trying to give ridiculous excuses in order to keep the charge as it is. He finally agreed to reimburse us $50.00 which we only received $37.50 of it which is probably the 15 minutes that his employee took to make the charge on my credit card. I tried to call him back with no avail. Not only did they ripped me off but also the problem was not fixed and I had to call somebody else to fixe the problem. I wonder if the good reviews on his site are from family and friends...

I hired H & H in Melbourne Beach. Don't know if this is same outfit. Called 8am with broken leaky water heater. They fixed it by 10:30am! Brought new one with them. Installer was expert, courtious and quick. Labor and new water heater was $675. Was well pleased. Make sure you call right H & H.

Craig came out to our house right on time and was very pleasant. Evaluated the problem and let me know right up front it might take several hours. He was very efficient, pleasant, worked hard, and got it done much faster than anticipated. Not only fixed the faucet in the tub but cleaned out the drain, showed me where the water meter was located and how it worked, played with our dog (!), and fixed the problem. Will always call H & H when in need! Thanks!!

They came right out when we needed a plumber right away, not """"next Monday."""" New tenants arrived late at night after driving from Indiana and called first thing the next morning to say they had no hot water for showers - egads! H&H diagnosed the problem, replaced a burnt out element, recommended replacing the aging hot water heater in a few years (but not now), in and out in about an hour. Given our situation they could have hit us with a big charge, but didn't. We will definitely call them again, hopefully it won't be an emergency!
