Honestly, I've had a pretty bad run with HG Home Services.

I hired them for cleaning, but they invoiced me for ""HVAC Inspection"" I didn't ask for. Worse still, the invoice mentioned things that weren't even done like exchanging filters - a pretty basic task, right?

They even gave an estimate for servicing a gas furnace, but I don't even have gas pipes! It feels like they didn't take a moment to understand my actual needs or setup.

Checking my AC, I found it full of grime and dirt, same as before, untouched and unhappy.

Technician claimed they can't scrub the fins as it would damage the unit but they could've at the least vacuumed away old leaves or washed away dirt with water. Makes no sense.

Initially, we had another company come to diagnose and charge $1,200 for a fan replacement. We decided to get another opinion. Cole came by and diagnosed. Turns out, it was only a minor fix that was less costly. Cole was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Our air conditioning was not working in July. HG Services was very responsive and repaired everything the very next day. (They would have come same day if we were willing to pay the after hours rate.) We were only charged the minimum service call,because the technician had the unit up and running quickly. All along the way HG Services were very good communicators.
