Joe Harrell founded Harrell Mechanical on his 50th birthday, March 1, 1985. He subsequently teamed up with Rennie Fish, resulting in the establishment of Harrell-Fish Mechanical. After Fish's retirement, the company continued as Harrell-Fish Inc. Steve Dawson became president and co-owner alongside Dave Mood and Brad Schlegel after Harrell's retirement. In 2015, the partnership expanded to include David Conner, Michael Hupp, and Phil Livingston. In 2015, we rebranded to HFI Mechanical & Building Solutions.
