On March 1, 1985, Joe Harrell launched Harrell Mechanical, coinciding with his 50th birthday. He later joined forces with Rennie Fish, leading to the formation of Harrell-Fish Mechanical. Following Fish's retirement, the business evolved into Harrell-Fish Inc. Steve Dawson became president and co-owner alongside Dave Mood and Brad Schlegel after Harrell's retirement. In 2015, we welcomed David Conner, Michael Hupp, and Phil Livingston into the partnership. The company underwent a rebranding to HFI Mechanical & Building Solutions in 2015.
