Wish I could give it a minus 100. Worse experience with a contractor ever. Either the technician that was sent out didn't have a clue, was very lazy or unethical. Non the less they left us without running water and didn't care. The technician was here for less that 5 minutes on a emergency call out and wrote a extreme false truth. There was water damage over a period of time....I'm sure he didn't see that because he never looked. We plan reporting to the state, BBB, city and more for the way my minor son was bullied into signing a form. I have never been so shocked in a handling of a situation you a company.

Chris came out installed my new water heater and it is so professionally installed. It only took 2.5 hrs to remove the old and completely install the new.

They took almost a month to fix a leaky tub faucet and when they finally showed up with the parts the job was sloppy and they didn't fix the leak. It was also the drain in the tub and they blamed in on previous pipe work which was done correctly and they LIED about it! I would never have them in my house again. Also the owner is a complete B****!!

They were sent out by our home warranty company, they are unprofessional, can not actually determine the issue or gain access to the pipes if the leak is inside the wall or floor. So we ended up having to call a separate plumber who was able to come out and diagnose the problem fairly fast. If you need an actual plumbing company save your self the headache and call Rotorooter cause Hero's has no idea what they are doing. Hero's even sent our home warranty company a diagnosis even though they never seen where the leak was coming from aka they said the leak was coming from the wall and there isn't a wall leak at all. They don't even deserve a 1 star review if they gave out negative stars they would definitely get them.

Have used them several times through AHS and they did a great job. Plumber was professional.

SH sent this company to my home for a second opinion from another company that came and did work in my home and they did worse than the first people Brent came to my home and was very rude and did not fix the problem and asking for more money all this company wants his money but they don't want to fix the problem do not use this company what so ever unless u want to get screwed like I hv ..

Our water heater was leaking and this is who our American Home shield sent out. My husband put in the order Saturday and they came out Monday (even though it was Labor Day) and looked at everything. Apparently our old water heater was 24 years old and not permitted so the warranty covered a new water heater but we still had to pay $500 out of pocket getting everything taken care of. Better than worrying about it later. The guy did a good job and we were happy with the work? I'll update later if any issues.

This was a horrible experience. We had to use Heros because they were the contracted plumber through American Home Shield. We put in the work request on Wednesday night.
The first issue we came across was that they weren't going to be able to come and look at the leak until Saturday. Meanwhile, I either have to have the water off to my house or allow it to keep leaking and damaging my wall. Despite the fact that this was an emergency leak, Mary wasn't helpful at all with scheduling and just kept telling me they were booked, unless AHS expedited our work order.
Eventually, I got lucky and Mary called to tell me there was a cancellation for Thursday evening.
When he arrived, the plumber barely looked for the leak in our crawl space, when he ""saw"" it, he said that he couldn't get to it (""because other pipes are in the way""). Next, he told us that WE would have to cut a hole in our wall or our floor. This is the report he sent to AHS, who then promptly said they wouldn't cover the cost of creating an access point. He went home, without fixing anything, because AHS would have to authorize the work. We were left to wait until Friday.
I won't argue the reasons why I believe AHS should have covered such a cost, if the plumber said it was required. This isn't a review of AHS.
It is, however, a review of this plumbing service and they gave an AWFUL assessment of the situation.
When we contacted our own plumber (from Bakersfield Plumbing) to assess the problem, he was able to locate the leak, identify that it was the line running to our refrigerator, and quickly found that the line could be accessed underneath our kitchen sink.
Absolutely NO HOLES were required to fix the problem, and he had it done within 2 hours from the time I called them.
Heros Plumbing and AHS would have had two teachers, with no home repair expertise, take a saw to our home rather than do the work they're paid to do.
Perhaps Heros offers better service to clients that call on their own, rather than the clients they have to serve via AHS. But if that's true, there's little integrity to a business like that.

Garbage company. If you want excuses as to why they can't do their job, call Hero's plumbing. They'll give you excuses all day long.

This is the worst company to mankind! AMERICAN home shield sent these guys out months ago and they obiousoy didn't fix the problem. I made a new request for repair and they sent out some individual with tattoos all over hiS face and head that were gang affiliated, I have a huge leak undernwath my sink that has traveled all the way to my closet and created mold that's been happening for months before the sink even broke (of which we do not use) since it's only two of us and that's the guest bathroom that no one uses. I immediately called the home warranty and told themI'm not accepting thiis mans diagnosis, but I'm no expert but I know that the faucet wasn't the only issue and that they neeeded to send someone else to fix the huge issue in my home. The man becomes really irritated irritated when he heard me speaking to the home warranty and I really believed he was going to cause me harm. He calls someone else over and they just leave. I keep complaining to the home warranty and they say that the worker said I i cussed him out and argued with him, which absolutely DID NOT HAPPEN. I call today to ask if it's typical for tHeir employers to lie on reports and this chick MARY answers and tells me it's not a lie and that I did cuss and create an argument, as if she was there. She was totally rude and had no type of customer service. I will be filing a complaint with the better busiNess bureau and STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!
