Be careful. They price gouge. I just got quoted over $5k for a water heater replacement. This is more than double what you should pay. Its a standard 50 gallon propane tank. They are quick to get to your home and take your $89 for the service call.

We had a service check up on our hot water heater today due to age. They arrived, stated that we needed a valve replaced, and did the replacement. As they were leaving, our water on the floor alarm started sounding. We now have a leaking hot water heater. We were told it could not be fixed and the quote to replace it was $5200. Another company is here now and charging less than half that amount for an evening service call and replacement. Do not call Heritage. I think we were just scammed.

My hot water heater was leaking onto the pilot light and putting it out. I called and they came out same day. I did some research to see how much a 40 gallon hot water heater would cost and it was $450 from Home Depot. When they came out they took a look at it actually tried to sell me a new one before he even looked in the area where the pilot light was. I told him I needed him to look and actually tell me if I was correct and what was wrong with it. He agreed that it was and that the heater needed to be replaced. We then went upstairs and he quoted me $3800 to purchase and install a new hot water heater. I questioned him because the hot water heater from Home Depot was only $450. He said if I brought my own it would be $1300 to install plus getting it inspected and pulling a permit which would then be $1800 and I said then what was the other $2000 for from his first quote?
I asked him if he was trying to sell me a $2000 40 gallon hot water heater.
Finally I told him no thank you, I paid the $89 service charge and told him I would be going with someone else. I found this amount to be outrageously overpriced. I posted on Facebook asking how much other people had to have a hot water heater installed and almost everyone said less than $2000 and generally less than $1500. I feel like Heritage is way overpriced and I would suggest doing a little more research and going with somebody else.

In December 2019, they came to review and quote us for new burner.

The Estimator was extremely rude to my father in his 80's. He was upset for days. After I left a message about how upset I was they called back leaving a message about sending someone else out. No apology no addressing the complaint.

Sorry no respect to people who a) can not be kind to elderly people and b) can't even apologize.

Wow, called with an emergency situation, no heat. They wanted almost $500.00 just to walk in the door. This should be against the law to rip off a consumer like this. Needless to say I said no thanks.

Came by to restore our hot water/boiler. Charged us $89 to say ""we can't fix it."" Did day that next week they could come back and try again but it would cost us $1,000. They were here all of 20 minutes performing ""diagnostics"" which is ultimately what they charged us for. Scam artists.

On to the positives:

On to the negatives:
Was told that my low water pressure at hot would be investigated and that my new shower assembly could be installed at the same time. The tech said that he couldn't guarantee the water pressure but could do the shower assembly which should resolve the problem.
The price quoted to replace a customer supplied shower assembly was $980 with me having everything I thought I needed. He said it would take about 4 hours which is $245 an hour! I paid the insane amount because I wanted the work done as soon as possible and the tech seemed very nice. Hours into the job, the tech discovers that the assembly I had was missing pieces and that one of the handles wouldnt even fit, then I had to run out to buy what was missing in a rush as he found out at 4pm and the place closes at 4:30pm. He was helpful in calling the place but maybe he should have checked that he had everything he needed before starting? He called someone senior to him for advice during the problem and I could hear the brash person telling him to charge us more to come back to finish the job while the tech said we were already being charged a lot of money. Now I know to check Yelp reviews instead of going off of Google reviews as those are overwhelmingly positive while the Yelp reviews are overwhelmingly negative.

The technicians are capable and fast however their cost is at least double what you would pay another plumber. Do not use unless you are in dire need. They can respond quickly.

Needed to diagnose an electrical problem affecting 3 light fixtures, technician deployed wanted to charge us twice for the diagnostic fee, because he couldn't figure out what the issue was and had to ""discuss the charges with his boss"", diagnostic fee was already $189, so $380 just to diagnose the problem and another $860 quoted to fix the issue that was stemming from a power outlet. New 100 amp electrical panels cost about $850 to get installed...

The techs are good, but that's the only positive. Its overpriced and the administrative service end is a hot mess.

I signed up for an annual cleaning 1 year in advance and also purchased their ""Home Advantage"" service, which is supposed to give you preferential service. They never called, there was 0 communication. I reached out in early fall to ask what was going on and they say it would take 10 WEEKS until they can schedule the annual maintenance that I ALREADY paid for and they were supposed to schedule themselves months prior.

They're basically a scam. Don't, I repeat don't use them... only for absolute emergencies.
