This is a raving review for Matt. I will admit I was surprised to see how young Matt was since the reviews all suggest someone that has been in the business for many years. Remember that old adage, ""don't judge a book by its cover...""

My problem was simply a plugged up line from my island sink. He arrived early and finished in 20 minutes; however, the sign of excellent customer service is respect, clear communications and proper actions. He told me exactly what he was planning to do, asked politely how best to bring equipment into my backyard, and took it upon himself to clear my main line so that I wouldn't need a follow up call. He was the consummate professional in an industry full of seedy people and practices.

I was actually referred to another plumbing company to do the work, but I looked them up and they seemed questionable based on the Yelp reviews. I decided to go with Matt at Henthorn Plumbing based only on the 5 star Yelp reviews. As a final stamp of my approval, his phone number is now permanently added to my contact list.

Think of every stereotype you've heard about plumbers and throw them right out the window. I needed some pipes moved in the garage - nothing crazy - but it was way outside of my knowledge base. I called Matt and we setup a time. He called later to let me know he might run a little late due to another job before mine - but they ended up coming early - just after the original time that we had discussed. He was very courteous, clean, thorough and meticulous. We had done quite a bit of work on our house over the last year and this is the 3rd plumber we've used in a year - but there is only one that I will be calling back!

It's labor day and my water heater stopped working. A couple plumbers I called earlier were either closed over the long weekend or not answering.

Matt answered the call in a few rings and promised to come by later in the afternoon. He later called again and turned up two hours earlier to my pleasure. He diagnosed the problem, explained how the parts work and how a faulty wire could cause the issue. In half an hour, he had it fixed. Before leaving, he advised me of regular cleaning and maintenance as the dryer's vent was also in the same enclosure.

I am very pleased with Matt's promptness and expertise and would highly recommend his service.

This is a long overdue review. I needed a plumber to relocate a vent going from the kitchen sink drain, because the vent was in the way of a new window that was being installed. My contractor referred me to Matt. I found him easy to work with, very skilled and quick, and not one to try and rip you off just because it's boom time for remodeling work in Silicon Valley.

What more can I say that other people haven't said except that Matt is a gem of a plumber.

I had a couple of plumbing problems and called Matt again. He responded quickly and arranged a time the same day for an appointment. As always Matt came on time and looked over the problem. He was able to fix one quickly and obtained parts and returned to fix the second problem. We decided to install new low flow toilets which Matt ordered and picked up. A day or two later Matt installed them . As a true professional, Matt tries to keep my expenses low , works very efficiently, and always is respectful of his surrounding ( Neat and clean ). I can highly recommend Matt in every way.

We had a clogged drain, when I use washer the water would come back up from the shower tabs and we were not able to use toilets for few hours before the water went down. I had one guy came over said we don't have clean out for our house and he needs to dig a big hole on my front lawn and he will charge a lot since it is a big job. Then I called Matt since lot of people recommend him through next door, he came over right after I called him, he found the same problem but he gave a much better solution through the crawl space to install a clean out open to the back yard. Which will be a lot cheaper than digging in the front yard and looks nicer and don't need to patch the lawn afterward. He started to work on it right away in the rain today and had the clean out installed and also got my drain cleaned, everything was done in about 3 hours. I was so happy about the work Matt did and I will for sure recommend him to my friends.
