We had a clogged drain, when I use washer the water would come back up from the shower tabs and we were not able to use toilets for few hours before the water went down. I had one guy came over said we don't have clean out for our house and he needs to dig a big hole on my front lawn and he will charge a lot since it is a big job. Then I called Matt since lot of people recommend him through next door, he came over right after I called him, he found the same problem but he gave a much better solution through the crawl space to install a clean out open to the back yard. Which will be a lot cheaper than digging in the front yard and looks nicer and don't need to patch the lawn afterward. He started to work on it right away in the rain today and had the clean out installed and also got my drain cleaned, everything was done in about 3 hours. I was so happy about the work Matt did and I will for sure recommend him to my friends.

Matt just installed a water return line from my master bathroom to my water heater, along with a pump. Now I have instant hot water at all my taps and showers, thus saving water waiting for the hot water to show up. Matt was timely, tidy, honest, knew what he was doing and got the job done quickly. He is also very amicable to work with. I asked Matt to re-work the pump piping to fit it closer to the water heater so my kid would not damage it passing by with her bulky metal book bag and he did it cheerfully. I recommend Matt highly. He will be installing my Ultra Low Flush (1.06G) Toto toilets when they arrive.

Matt was awesome. I discovered at 9 PM that my hot water heater had broken, and my basement was flooded with warm water. After a few basic questions, Matt was at my door an hour later with a new heater. Other plumbers might be grumpy and short in that situation, but despite the late call, Matt was extremely friendly, positive, and professional, and worked tirelessly until almost midnight to get me squared away. I really appreciated how he took the time to answer all of my questions and the fact that he respected my home, taking care not to leave a mess. This was quite possibly the best experience I've ever had with a plumber!

Matt is now my go-to plumber. I called several plumbers, all with 5 star ratings on yelp who wanted to charge me double what Matt charged me. All I needed was a cartridge changed in the guest bathroom shower. Matt came over in the morning, fixed it but I needed a new handle. My shower hardware was 15 to 20 years old and Matt called around and found one to match and had it installed by the end of the day. No extra charge!! He should be the first plumber you call. Nice guy, excellent customer service and he knows his stuff. Thanks Matt.

I was advised by a friend to call Matt. Upon giving Henthorn Plumbing a phone call regarding a continually intermittent water closet leak, I spoke with Matt who, right away, offered to come over to my place even as we spoke. Being greeted with such level of instant readiness to attend to issues is quite a rarity and it was my first glimpse into the level of commitment Matt gives his work. He did come over the next day, was meticulously thorough in detecting and diagnosing the nature of the leak, and quickly proposed and took a course of action that is quite uncharacteristic of the service industry: he decided to do an entire replacement of parts instead of taking short cuts -- even when, in doing so, he may have stood to gain financially no more than if he did otherwise. Needless to say, the annoying problem is now permanently addressed. I doff my hat to Matt and recommend him highly. Competence is vital and integrity is golden. But together, both are priceless. Hard to describe how grateful I am to Matt. I can honestly say that I don't dread plumbing problems because I have faith that if i call him he can fix it quickly, and affordably. He's definitely a specialist. He comes in, asks some questions, takes a look and then does serious magic.

Tonight, he fixed our toilet. It has been out of commission for way too long. He explained everything he was planning to do and gave us many helpful tips. We are now back to normal thanks to Matt.
