I never write reviews but I felt like my experience deserved special recognition. My air conditioning went out. I panicked. With 3 small children at home that is NOT a fun experience. I called Henson Mechanical, I knew they were local to my area and I always see their trucks around town. They came immediately and recharged my air conditioning. The gentleman that came out was friendly and personable and answered all of my questions. I know nothing about air conditioning so I drilled him. He took the time to show me my unit, and explain how it works even though it was getting late in the day. I have recently signed up for their preventive maintance program which is a huge stress reliever. All in all, their prices are more than fair, they have customer service that reminds me of chick-fil-a, and they are local (super important to me). I have passed their info on to friends, family and co-workers and I felt like I needed to publicly recognize their service. A BIG thank you to Henson Mechanical!

Henson came out and gave me a very good bid on installing a garden tub in my master bathroom. I called the next day and scheduled the job for a week later so they would have time to gather the components they needed. To prepare for the project, we moved out of the bedroom and moved furniture around to give them easy access with the tub, and we removed the trim around the old tub. They didn't show. When I called, they claimed the job was not on the schedule and nobody there had any recollection of talking to me. No mention was made of rescheduling, or accommodating us in any way. Needless to say, I am now looking for another contractor. I suspect they underbid the job and just didn't want to do it. I hope their estimator was not just casing my house. Avoid Henson.

This company installed new heating and air in our home. We have had nothing but problems. They promised to complete certain parts of the job that were NEVER finished. We finally had another HVAC co. Come and replace or repair all mistakes. Would not recommend!

Follow up..just received a response from the company advising they only speak to the payer. Okay, use your words at the time of visit don't wait 4 months later & post a response. If their response is any indication of the service..you know what your getting. Oh yeah thanks Joe H for the response..praying you can turn it around.

Our unit was installed by Henson. We called to see about locating ,the very difficult to find , replacement filters. Could not get in touch with a live person locally. Decided to drive to the business only to find out that they moved. When we finally found the business they do not have the filters and sent us to another business . Maybe we should have gone to the other business to begin with !!!

Had my system serviced today! Chris is awesome! They are always on time and polite. Its nice to know that some companies still care about taking care of the customer. I would recommend them to anyone.

Beware! Do not hire this company! They were scheduled today to replace our hot water heater...we called them 2 days ago and told them the EXACT type we needed....they showed up very late....they did not have what they needed...they unhooked my water & gas...told me they needed a small part and would be right back....2 hours later they never showed up....every time I called the company they gave a different excuse (shortage of hot water heaters in florida & they actually never had the hot water heater..they just told me they did...they lied to me several times...very dishonest, worker would not answer his phone (called 3 times) and they just overall screwed up royally. I consider them very incompetent and at this moment I have waited almost 6 hours with no water and no work done. They do not know what they are doing...do not hire them!
