Our regular plumber (Five Star) was too busy to take a faucet install so we turned to HY Plumbing. Now I understand the low Yelp score. We dealt with Henry Yee's (HY) Plumbing twice in the last 14 days and the problem is their customer service. As a manager of many, I would terminate the woman running the front office. She acts as if we are doing her a favor by calling for service.
Our HY plumber arrived, late, but finished the faucet install without incident.
Henry Yee... Your front office rep is going to kill your business. We will not be a return customer.
Plumbers that I would recommend, although unavailable for today's job:

Five Star is our regular plumber. From the front office to the plumber - Aces!

This company gets 2 stars merely because the job was finished.

Initial meeting with the plumber went great then went down hill after he wasn't able to fix a plumbing issue another company made .... long story short made the issue worse broke my shower and didn't even tell his company!

We hired Henry's Plumbing to detect a leak inside the house since our tenants received a notice from the water company notifying there is a leak somewhere due to a high water bill and the water meter continuously running. However, they notified us that there were 0 leaks inside the home. The only leak found was from the outside sprinklers which were not even discovered by the plumber but instead by the TENANT.
After the tenant called the water company to find out if the problem had been resolved, we found out that the water meter was still running so we hired another company and this company found there was in fact a leak inside the home.
I called Henry's Plumbing and spoke to Lindsey Brown, who works inside the office. I explained in a calm manner what had happened and she immediately called the plumber (I didn't get his name). They both began yelling on the phone without acknowledging that they had made a mistake and threatened that they would sue me if I didn't pay them. Had they listened to what I had to say, they would've heard that I would still pay them for their services EVEN THOUGH they did not perform proper service.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. They will just cause more headaches to you.

This company was referred to me by my home warranty company. Donn showed up and kept talking without listening to my explanation. Tells me he needs to cut a hole in the ceiling, ceiling is brand new due to a kitchen remodel. Donn assures me they would be back to repair, they did not. Called their office and was told ""no"" we don't do drywall repair. After $320.00 for the drywall repair I still have to paint the patch. If your home warranty company or anyone else for that matter refers you to this company DO NOT CALL THEM AND RUN TO THE NEXT PLUMBER.

Pathetic excuse for a ""Plummer"". Their technician Donn showed up without calling us prior as they stated they would. This guy showed up with no tools and spent about four minutes looking at our sinks that we had a couple of issues with. He basically said that since the issue wasn't active while he was there that he couldn't do anything and that to diagnose any further would take a work order that would not approved. He told me to run vinegar down my sink, advice I could have easily googled. After the couple of minutes of actual ""diagnostic service"" Donn stands in my living room and spends like ten minutes writing up a work order/receipt. I actually said to him ""you spent more time writing up that order than you did looking into my plumbing"" to which he replied ""ya"" and proceeded to remind me that I would be charged 75 dollars for the ""service"". I made it very clear that I would be contacting this company's management to receive a FULL refund. Having contacting the president and leaving him a message I have still not heard back. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. They should lose their license and should be removed from any home warranty company's contractors.

I was referred to Henry Yee Plumbing by my home warranty company. I had no prior experiences with them until I was contacted by Lindsey to schedule an appointment. My call was brief, pleasant and she was very accommodating base on my schedule.
The technician arrived promptly in the beginning of the time window and he introduced himself as ""Donn"". While assessing the issue with my water heater, Donn did a great job making me more knowledgeable about the maintenance required for my water heater as well as point out some good practices to keep it running.
Donn was very respectful and courteous throughout the time spent fixing my issue. I can't speak for anyone else at the company but I will say that based on my experience with Lindsey over the phone and the great impression of the company left by Donn, I would certainly call them again. Ask for Donn!

We have engaged Henry Yee's plumbing services on two separate occasions. The first time they did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to handle the job at hand. In the last couple of days, we called them again for a water heater issue at a rental that we own. Once again James handled the situation, so that our tenants were not inconvenienced with having no hot water. We could not recommend James and Lindsay highly enough. Whatever the task James goes out of his way to make sure the job is done timely and correctly. Kudos James and Lindsay!
Thank you ever so much, Sue M.

BEWARE!
WORST SERVICE DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This company has the audacious to ask all your money for a job, they haven't even finished! They have literally spend a month at my house and have not even come close to getting the new pipes done.
James Brown will ask for all your money , when he hasn't deliver !
Keep waiting for them to actually work and finish the job.
They are always late!
They hire inexperience workers.
They just keep making excuses not to finish the job and apparently don't have problem solving skills.
The ""supervisors"" allows the inexperience workers to do all the work while they walk around or sit down.
They are awful and utterly incompetent.
Worst experience. They keep making promises and the job never gets done. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. I wish I did.

We had a water heater replaced by their technician. The next day after the hook up, a gas leak was determined. We called the gas company and their finding was the hose was not properly installed.....how would you rate Henry Yee Plumbing?

I had this company come out as the drain to my wash machine was plugged. The owner of the company never even brought a snake with him. He did nothing to explore the problem. He informed me that the problem was the way the plumbing was put in and to remedy the problem would cost thousands! He stated he could put in a bypass from the outside to get around the problem and snake it from there. The cost would be a mere $500!!! I gave him $75 for the cost of the warranty and sent him on his way
I called out another company who snaked the drain and the problem was fixed in 20 minutes. The cost was $95.
