I had this company come out as the drain to my wash machine was plugged. The owner of the company never even brought a snake with him. He did nothing to explore the problem. He informed me that the problem was the way the plumbing was put in and to remedy the problem would cost thousands! He stated he could put in a bypass from the outside to get around the problem and snake it from there. The cost would be a mere $500!!! I gave him $75 for the cost of the warranty and sent him on his way

I called out another company who snaked the drain and the problem was fixed in 20 minutes. The cost was $95.

I go thru old republic who refered this company. And they are able to come out the same day. Well story is Cesar comes in and right off the bat tells me one republic doesn't cover a lot of things. So i pay no attention i tell him the night before i noticed water upstair on my rug and didn't think nothing of it until the next day there was water spots on my ceiling. So he check under the sink bathtub shower toilet n says hmmmm nothing here.. and if i cut the ceiling its not covered. I said well why not how you suppose to know where the leak is if you cant cut it. So i call old republic and speak to them they tell me it is and talk to him and tell him it is. So the boy goes out and gets a stepping stool and starts cutting my ceiling. No plastic down nothing he is on his tippy toes cutting. And says its the wax ring from the toilet and its not cover. And then starts laughing and after i said you had no plastic to put down he said no. How do you cut a whole make a mess and everything out of his mouth was its not covered. He is to small to see inside the hole he cut and just assumes its a wax ring from the toilet that he didn't remove? Hmmmmm so i have a 2nd company coming out but when i call to complain i speak to james who is cussing saying they are pressing charges on me for cussing the kid out. I had to tell this disrespectful boy to leave. What he did was unacceptable. They dont no what they are doing and unprofessional. Dont use even if they offer free service. Horrible. Looks like a small claims suit for the unnecessary hole and mess left. A wax ring under the toilet can not be seen from where he drilled a hole. He couldn't even see

Eek us right! We were referred to this company by Old Republic Home Warranty Company to fix a problem with our bathtub. The repairman came out, misdiagnosed the problem and told us that the problem was due to the builder's error and was not covered. He drew us a diagram of what he said the problem was. Although he did no actual work for us he collected his $75 and was on his way. We got a second opinion on our own and behold! $200 later it turns out that was not the problem at all. We called Mr. James Brown to let him know that his plumber misdiagnosed our problem and ask for our money back. A woman identified as his wife was rude; awful and because my husband was upset about the service we received she said we were ""f....g"" crazy and hung up the phone. Later Mr. Brown called us back, but to see what happened with his wife, not his customers. Fine. I get it. But this was supposed to business, not a family reunion. Our next step is to report this service and behavior to Old Republic. In my opinion this company should not be recommended to deal with their Clients with this type of behavior.

WOW! What a GREAT Customer Service Experience I had with this company and James Brown. I called because our water heater we purchased on 10/1/16 indicates the burner went out. From the moment I spoke James on the phone (he called ME because I called and could not get through after hours), he assured me he could help get me the part i need. He took the time to call around to order the part and have it sent to me or install it if I needed. This guy was terrific! He found out since my water heater was covered (don't buy a Whirlpool water heater people!) for parts, it would not cost anything and they could ship me the parts! Not many plumbing places do this kind of FREE service and this place has it! Keep up the GREAT work James. Feel free to reach out to me for any questions on this experience.

This has got to be the best plumbing company for anyone looking to save money, and not deal with rude or unprofessional home service men. It can be quite uncomfortable to have strangers enter your home, but the father and son that replaced my water heater were time efficient and made it a point for me to get my money's worth!! Okay, so let me start off by saying my experience with Henry Yee's Plumbing was amazing! From the first call made by the home warranty company until after the install of my new water heater, the service has been great! Very responsive, knowledgeable and keeps their promises. Day 1: 7:00 am, noticed a leak in my garage as I was leaving for work that morning. Contacted the home warranty company at 8:30 am and I have the plumbers at my house assessing the problem at 4:30 pm that afternoon. A work order was faxed over to Home Warranty company by 5:30 pm and I received a call from my Home Warranty company letting me know the work order was received and has been approved! Day 2: contacted Lindsey at 9:00 am and she said don't worry, I have the approval on my desk and I would try and have someone come out no-later-than Thursday. I explained to her that I had small children in my home and It would help a great deal if she could try and have someone come out sooner if possible. Lindsey responded with ""I can't promise you anything but I will do my best"". I received a call from Lindsey that evening right before 5 pm letting me know that she schedule the plumber to come out the next morning between 8 -10 am! Day 3: Plumber showed up at 8:45 am and the install was complete by 10:30 am! I extremely satisfied with the service, customer service, knowledge of the technicians and most importantly Henry Yee ""above and beyond approach"". I am a REAL customer and i was not paid to write this review!

Terrible business.
Unprofessional, rude, incompetent.
Misdiagnosed, charged for water heater that did not need to be replaced, staff rude, owner rude to tenant.

This company scams customers. They were telling us we needed to do modifications to installing a new water heater per state law. That every time you change your water heater you need new hosing. My husband who knows a thing or two about coding told me to request the literature of this coding, which I didn't r curve but was told to google it by the company. Ok, so I did my digging and called the department of housing and community development to ask about my specific situation, and all the said that was required by state law was a strap to hold the water heater in case of earthquake. Couldn't get a hold of the company again and had to call the home warranty to have them get ahold of them. Basically, because I was requesting this documentation the now refused to do the work.

If your home warranty recommends them, ask for someone else. They have multiple companies on their list

BEWARE! Save yourself some time, money and stress! The home warranty companies recommending this business need to be warned to stop recommending them. They're horrible to work with!

It seems that the previous person who left a review and I had a very similar experience. Had a VERY similar experience as far as scheduling within time windows goes for sure... very frustrating considering my husband is active duty and could not make it at 2PM in the afternoon. I tried to explain this to only be hit back with ""we're ex-military - we're all too familiar with how scheduling works"" typical response which is the nice way of saying ""oh well/and?"" Okay, then as a company who is ex-military why do you not accommodate with easier hours then 2pm in the afternoon? Anyways... our technician who originally diagnosed the problem said weekend hours were available so I inquired about them. That was turned down by Lindsay initially but once it was made clear there was no way a 2pm appointment would would ever during the week she reached out to the technician who agreed to a 11-1 today, Saturday April 7th.

Long story short, an emergency came up and his time got delayed. Okay no big deal, I let him know later was fine but requested he called in advance when he was leaving his current job so that I could make sure my husband was home. Only makes sense since he would no longer be within the scheduled time window and he couldn't give an exact time, only another window. He agreed. He called after then to delay it even more or try to cancel all together which I denied because it has been one week without hot water and we have a toddler at home who I'm sorry, shouldn't have to take consistent ice cold baths because a company doesn't see it as important (the technicians words not mine). He told me his boss would reach out and guess what? She didn't. I asked him to ask her to reach out and he said he relayed a message and even then she still didn't call me. He said the job he was working on was difficult and he would have a few hours away from even being near us to help but no matter what he would show up to fix our water heater and get the job done and he understood our frustrations. Okay cool, appreciated. Well he called a little after 4:30pm already at our house, no warning, no advancement call, just a hey I'm here. I told him I would call my husband ASAP and have him there as I knew my husband was a 10 minute drive away. His reply? ""Oh no that's not going to work I can't be waiting around on you guys all day I have stuff to do as well"" EXCUSE ME? Who was waiting all WEEK for hot water? Who was waiting all day while constantly being pushed behind? Look, I understand that crap happens, things come up and whatever. What I don't understand is how it seemed right in someone's mind to tell a CLIENT that they have better stuff to do, that us not having hot water with kids in the house is an emergency to handle after a week and how ""I better have my husband there in 10 minutes or else in leaving."" This technician was EXTREMELY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and flat out unprofessional. For someone to sit on the phone and tell me things along the lines of ""your child not having hot water is of no importance as trust me, I can name a ton of things more important than that,"" ""you guys honestly could have gone longer without it to be honest as hot water is not a big deal"" or to be accused as being dishonest is not okay. I told him from the first delay call to warn me so I could make sure my husband is home. He argued this and called me dishonest. Wish I could go into further detail but honestly? This company probably doesn't even care and nothing will be done to correct the technicians ugly attitude. This is the most disgusting company ever. Don't even bother responding with those business reply's that most business owners do on yelp to try and gain back a little brownie points from anyone who may be looking up reviews and may no longer consider this business. I'm not interested in the fake nice stuff. 10 THUMBS DOWN!

If I could rate 0, I totally would. I contacted this company because it was referred by our home warranty company Old Republic, but this plumbing company was just a total nightmare! First of all, they never called me back within the time frame that they promised to schedule a follow-up appointment. Then when I tried to call their office, they never answered my phone. And you can tell that they purposely did not answer my call. They finally texted me back saying that they would call me right back when they got sick of me calling every 15 mins. But still, it took them an hour later to call back. They told me they could come between 11 AM-1pm. I asked "" is 12-1pm ok? I can't be there at 11am."" The associate who answered the phone said it's ok. And I repeated the time 12-1pm back to him for confirmation and he said ok. Then they showed up 11:16ish in my house because they finished their last job. I called back the office:"" I thought we had an appointment time between 12-1pm."" Lindsay who answered the phone said they never set up appointment like that. I was like, the associate I talked to earlier said it's ok for 12-1pm. Lindsay 's attitude stunk and told me the associate was standing right next to her and never told me the 12-1pm time frame was ok and their technician already left my property because no one was there. I got furious, I was like""i've been trying to get hold of your office to schedule a time this morning, and you never answered my call. You don't just tell me 30 mins before you decide to show up and expect me to be there."" Lindsay then told me it's my fault that I called them 20 times this morning, which confirmed my suspicion that they purposely declined to answer my phone. If they had answered it, then I did not have to waste my time calling them! And if they had called the night before to schedule the appointment as they previously promised, then I didn't have to call! I just hang up on them. I decided to use another company even it's not covered by my warranty company. Do NOT use this company even if you are desperate!
