1 Star? How about zero stars? I call HG Plumbing to fix 2 issues I had. First being the master bedroom shower valves were leaking. Second job was fixing a low pressure flush in my hall bathroom. Let me add the gentlemen that was fixing the hall toilet and valves had to leave and """"GET a part"""" that took him over an hour to get.. and guess what? They charged us for that time. Shocked yet? No? Keep reading... After a couple of weeks bathroom shower valves start leaking again, toilet starts the low pressure flush soon after. I called a few times and left a message and got no response. So I went ahead and stopped payment since OBVIOUSLY the work was not DONE PROPERLY and I got no response. So job not done, you don't get paid! Please keep reading.. cause now it get's good. A couple months after, we get a call from who I would say is some retched horrible excuse of a """"want to be attorney"""" threatening to sue us. We told the attorney the work had not been completed and we wanted the work to be done before we paid them their money. Sound fair? We think it does.. The attorney did not want to even hear it. She spoke to Henry GONZALEZ and he refused to come and fix the job they got paid for, he just wanted the rest of his money. The issues that didn't get fixed wasn't his concern. So reluctantly and against MY wishes my wife and I agreed to pay what was owed.. maybe $175 or so. We made a couple of payments and my wife accidentally misplaced the information that we needed to send the payment to. We now have received a letter that we are being sued and have a court date coming up because of the payment issue. We may owe may $75-$100. We are in the process now of trying to get in touch with the wicked witch from the west to finish payments for a job that WAS NEVER DONE RIGHT AND THEY REFUSED TO FIX! I went ahead and fixed the shower myself. $60 later and it works perfect! (PERHAPS I SHOULD BILL HG PLUMBING FOR MY REPAIR OF THEIR REPAIR?) Now I don't know if these positive reviews on here are staged by friends, employees or family members or whatever. But stay away from these back stabbing, half a$$ job doing thieves. Yes, I sad """"thieves""""! Do you know what the only difference between a thieve and Henry Gonzalez Plumbing is?.....You """"INVITE"""" Henry Gonzalez plumbing into your home.

As an owner's representative in the construction world we are always looking for the best of the best. Gonzalez plumbing was recommended to me and I am so far beyond impressed with their work. They were prompt and quick and excellent at their job. These guys are extremely friendly and are clearly very knowledgeable in their craft.

Extremely Dishonest workers. Don't use this company. They will destroy your house and then lie about it, not fix it, and make you pay double the money to hire new plumbers. Steer clear and save your money!

I blame the president, Joseph Gonzalez, for this poor customer service. They have sent a service tech out to our home (2) times to service our tankless hot water heater, which identifies by a code what the problem is (an air clog). Each time, he spends (1) hour doing a """"diagnostics"""" check. Each time, I have paid by check in good faith, $186 and $97, assuming the tech had been properly trained to clean my system and find the air clog. On the first receipt, the technician wrote that he closed the ticket and that the system was working properly, and he """"cleaned the unit"""". Being a female home alone with him, I do not dispute this for safety reasons. He told me that I needed to find someone to go on the roof and see if there was a clog in the vent. I did that. There is no clog. I call Henry Gonzalez Plumbing again, as the unit still is not working. They send the same tech, with a partner. Spend one hour doing """"diagnostics"""", and come up with nothing. He finally calls tech support at the manufacturer and is told that he has to take the unit apart and clean it. I tell him to stop right there, as he is paid by the hour and why would I allow him after (2) diagnostics check and (1) cleaning, to repeat the cleaning that he had done the previous time? What would he hope to accomplish differently, while running up my bill? At that point, I got on the phone with Tech support, only to learn that he did not clean it according to manufacturer specs, and if he had cleaned it properly it would have taken one hour, and tech support could have been on the phone with him to coach him through it. With the unit identifying exactly the problem via an internal troubleshooting code, this job could have been done in one hour, instead I am two appointments into this, paid in full, with a broken tankless hot water heater. I was educated by the manufacturer that many technicians go to """"install"""" school, but never return for """"service"""" school. I speculate whether this technician has ever been """"service"""" trained on this unit. When asked to speak to the owner of the company, he suggested that the next step is to have the """"blower"""" cleaned out. I asked him why this didn't happen the first time he tech came out. His response was that most people do not want to """"pay"""" for that. I told him that I paid (2) times, and certainly a blower, if it were in the manufacturer specs to clean it would have been included in the """"cleaning"""" that I already paid for. The company owner just talked in circles, and told me that he would send someone out for a 3rd time, and charge me a discounted rate. I told him no thank you, and asked if """"Henry Gonzalez"""" was still involved in the company, as no one would want their name associated with this type of service. He said no. I asked if his father was involved in the business, he said no. It appears when it's the 3rd generation of ownership that the """"customer service"""" part of the business never got instilled, in this case.
