Thank you Jerry for fixing my recirculating hot water pump !
For reasons unknown, I had someone other than Henrik install a water heater and the guy Mickey Moused the pipes, which eventually made my pump not work.
Jerry came over, checked out the situation. Ran down and got the necessary parts, and Im up and running again!
Price was right, and Jerry is super cool !!

Here's an update to my review I posted 2 weeks ago:

I should clarify that the repiping process was completed very quickly, efficiently and seems to be done well.

Everything after that has been RIDICULOUS!

Here we are 4 weeks after the initial work was begun. The drywall patching was finally completed last week, week 3.

""Richard"" is still telling his stories! It's just hysterical. ""He said the work was done yesterday"" The work is done, time to pay up, yet the inspector won't sign off on a PIECE OF MASKING TAPE THAT SAYS ""PEX, DON'T GROUND"" What a LAUGH! Expecting to see an actual yellow sticker...Even the inspector laughed when seeing that! The inspector wanted to know where the plumbers were, they are suppose to be in attendance at the final inspection. (looking around...looking around) Nope! They didn't show up!

Their work isn't done, and NOW ""Richard"" is threatening a mechanics lien on the property for...non-payment? This is pushing me to the limit, but I DO have to say THANKS FOR THE LAUGH on the ""official sticker"" today, Henriks! WOOHOO!

See you all in another 2 weeks, we'll see if things are finally complete at that time....LOL!

Initial Review:

Henrik's Plumbing needs to work on their follow-up!

We had a duplex repiped 2 weeks ago. The inspector came and the work didn't pass.

The plumbers didn't post a required notice in the breaker box (is this their first time doing this kind of work?no checklist or what?)

There is a water leak under one kitchen sink

The drywall repairs are weak and require another coat

Drywall in the garage isn't even repaired to its original condition, holes open throughout.

We have tried contacting Richard, the primary ""scheduler"" of the work at the company. We've left message after message with no return call. When we FINALLY got hold of him, ""Oh, I thought the work was done! Oh, I thought it passed inspection""

If Richard would answer his phone and/or return phone calls, he would know

Don't let this place pill the wool over your eyes. They're messing around with us, don't let it happen to you.

We've received the Final Bill but won't be paying it for a while. If we have to get another plumber and a drywall repair guy to do the finish work, they can take their Final Bill and shove it up their own pipes!

I had my townhome re-piped in early December. The re-piping was fast and was well done. I'd give them 4 1/2 stars for this portion (a recessed light was broke in the process). Getting Henrik to come back to fix the light, a very amateurish (orange peal to cauliflower texture and wall shadows do to the unevenness in the repair) job on the drywall and a broken faucet aerator is my issue with this company.

Today (almost two months later) is the third no show to fix this these problems. I cannot recommend Henrik for this reason. Further, if you decide on using Henrik, I would suggest putting aside a few hundred dollars to fix up any issues when they are complete as their follow-up in non-existent. I also would hold my final payment until I was completely satisfied. That was a mistake on my part.

Very disappointing... I took time off from work for this last appointment.

Update 02/19/2016 - Drywall fixed last week. Broken recessed light and aerator still broken. Henrik scheduled to arrive today.

Update 02/20/2016 - Electrician took care of my lighting. Very nice guy and was fast, proficient and professional. I've updated my rating to 3 stars. My aerator is still and issue.

I'm add this email (for context) that was sent to [email protected] on 12/20/2015. This identical message was left the dry wall crew.

Hi Willy/Richard,

Just an FYI. I left the following message on some R11 insulation I purchased and Home Depot. The insulation that was removed was left outside and got wet in the rain. Please read and let me know if you can help remedy this issues.

Some of the R11 insulation was placed outside during the re-piping. It was soaked after the rain so please use the new insulation you see on the kitchen floor.

Also, please check and correct a couple of small items.
· One of the kitchen recessed lights no longer works. I'm sure it worked before the re-piping as I just replace all four bulbs as two were missing when I returned.

· One of the upstairs bathroom faucet aerators (hot water) is missing. I'm guessing is was removed when the system was being flushed. Please check with your piping crew to see where they set it aside.

· The main water shutoff valve appear to be leaking. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed this was leaking prior to the re-piping as I walked thru the job prior to it starting. Is this something that can be fixed? Please advise.

I really appreciate your fantastic work. This morning I saw a water clean-up/restoration companies outside my office window. I'm glad I will not have to worry about his problem again.

I can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx if you need to reach me.

Thank you!

Henrik Plumbing Inc is a real company that has been at the same location for over 18 years right in Los Angeles, Many other companies change their name, move, and go out of business, Henrik Plumbing Inc 18 years - same company name- same phone - same address - same Henrik -

Henrik has a plumber comparison checklist, if that sounds bad to some customers, I doubt it, Does it disturb other companies Yes, go look on line at the plumbing comparison checklist and see for yourself, Reviews sites have little if any credibility because they have become compromised, other companies can post lies and they do-

Henrik Plumbing Inc is a real company with a real shop, office and location 18 years - many of the other repipe companies have gone out of business and are gone, take 20 minutes to educate yourself - It is worth 20 Minutes
Henrik Plumbing really does have many many many happy customers.

This company is by far the worst company I have ever encountered! A sales guy came to my house to give me a quote for a repipe and he spent 20min talking crap about his competitor, it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This company is very unethical and not professional. I got multiple estimates for the project and their competitor was very professional and never once trashed another company.

I would highly urge you to not use Henrik Plumbing they seem like they would be a nightmare to work with!

Finished job on 6/4/13. Very Professional, accommodating, neat, polite, sensitive to the fact that elderly and disabled needs were met. Richard was on top of paperwork whenever I had a question (not only e-mailed response but followed up with a hard copy. Joseph (foreman) was top notch. Very happy with the completed job!

Had Henrik repipe the house and place a new line out to the meter in the parkway. The guys doing the repipe were fine, the guys doing the drywall repair were moody and constantly angry. When the plumbing was complete I threw the drywall guys out of my house and finished the job myself. This week I had another plumbing company replacing all the sewer lines under the house and they were nice enough to drag out all the old galvanized pipe left by Henrik. Henrik plumbing does decent work but their supervision is terrible.

I had a slab foundation leak in my home, so I had a choice of having someone jack hammer my floor to find it, repair it and then repair the damage to my home (flooring, island, cabinets, etc.), or I could have my home repiped with copper pipes not foolishly encased in concrete beneath my home. I called Cole Services plumbing and the guy came and quoted $11,000 to repipe my home. He made sure to ask if I had someone give me an estimate first, I foolishly said he was the first plumber I ever spoke to. He saw me as a sucker. He wouldn't even give me a written estimate stating I would try to get a better deal elsewhere. I thought a slab foundation leak was no big deal, and told him I had a $1500 budget for the job. He told me he would charge me that amount simply to find the leak without repairs. I knew $11,000 was crazy, but he tried to assure me no one would do the work his company would do. Dealing with this large amount of money and time it's obvious I needed a second opinion and estimate. I called Henrik Plumbing after reading reviews at Yelp, and the person I talked to was kind and even gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone. He sent a plumber to my house to check it out. Unlike the plumber from Cole who didn't look at anything (simply stood in my kitchen and talked nonsense), the plumber from Hendrik Plumbing actually looked at everything including my bathrooms, kitchen and even the laundry connection in the non attached garage. He even threw in a free refrigerator connection, so I could actually have ice/water from my fridge. He advised that repiping the house was a better choice because simply repairing a slab foundation leak was like putting a bandage on what could be a lingering, serious wound.

The plumber from Henrik Plumbing got right to the point and said this is the best price I can offer, and it was in the same ballpark as the person I spoke to over the phone estimated. I quickly signed the contract on the spot because I was told the whole job that included a total repipe of a two story, two bathroom home would be $5,500. This was ""HALF"" the price the con artist from Cole Plumbing gave me. Henrik sent a crew of men, and in one day they totally repiped my home putting pipes in places (above ground) that had never been before because the old pipes were in the slab foundation. The men knew what they were doing, worked hard and did an excellent job. Another crew came after the city inspection to do the patch up work, and did an excellent job repairing my walls and ceiling where all the new copper piper went. I had to paint over the patching myself (nothing that spending a few hours after buying paint from Home Depot couldn't remedy). Hendrik gave me a new shower head and valve/trim included in the price, and I even replaced my broke garbage disposal for $300. I'm so thankful I came across Henrik Plumbing. Their employees are prompt and professional, and know what they're doing. Having your whole home repiped is not an easy endeavor, but I'm glad I got Henrik to do it. I know my home has more value now, and I don't have to worry about spending hundreds of dollars in wasted water per month leaking or not having water at all because of a slab leak foundation. I was ""GLAD"" to pay after the work was done because I know I got a good value and excellent service. I highly recommend Henrik Plumbing because they truly know how to repipe a home.

We called this place to unclog the kitchen sink 3 months ago. The guy was very prompt and fast. Before I could ask him to check the drain in the front for me, he was done and ready to leave. I asked him for a receipt for the job, he told me he would be right back and next thing I know he already drove off. We got the no balance due bill in the mail a week after.

Anyway, 3 months after this odd incident. The sink is clogged again. I called them and told the guy the sink was unclogged only 3 months ago. Before I can say anything else, he accused me of putting random thing in the sink. Dude, really? He didn't even know how the sink looks like at this point. And he also told me some people have their sink unclogged every month. WOW. I was speechless. And he told me their warranty on unclogging kitchen sink is 24 to 48 hours. I just told him it's alright, I don't need their service anymore.

So $150 to unclog your kitchen sink every month is normal to these guys. No, thanks. I will call someone else.
