I called BHI due to a water heater leak. BHI responded the same day and were able to properly diagnose the issue. Jay and Joe were able to have a line changed quickly and cleanly. Would recommend and use BHI again. Thanks!

In good faith, I felt that it would be OK to have a technician from BHI come over to do an evaluation of my heating system for a possible installation of a new furnace, without us being there. They replied that it would be fine...and that they were licensed and bonded. So they go and do the inspection this last Thursday.

On Saturday I arrive at my cabin for the weekend. When I walked in the house it was 34 degrees. I thought this to be unusual as we had set the temp to 55, which we always do when we are away. I tried to turn on the furnace several times. It would not start....which is unusual. The issue has always been keeping it going...not getting it started. I went upstairs to the room where the furnace is and found that whoever had been there had unplugged it from the wall.

When I plugged it back in, it began circulating cold air without any heat....and would not turn off unless I pulled the plug. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't firing and creating heat until I then realized that the BHI technician had also turned the gas off.

We had another HVAC person show up and ""fixed"" the circulating motor that had never been a problem before.

Had we not been there that weekend, our pipes could have burst without any heat circulating in the home. We also were not informed about anyone unplugging things and turning off the gas.

It seems that if BHI were going to do these things, they might have at least left a note on the table, or a quick telephone call to let me know.
They did neither. No explanation....nothing.

Didn't hear from them until today...with an estimate.

Still no personal explanation as to why they did the things they did.


Update. Manager of the establishment called and was very apologetic saying that his worker had dropped the ball and as a result had been spoken to. He said that they prided themselves in their communication with clients and that this error was not a reflection of the way they did business. Took some courage to make the call.. and even more to say that they were wrong..

When we had a leak in our foundation slab BHI came out right away and helped figure out where the leak was and stop it. We obtained a couple of quotes for repiping the whole house as we had had several leaks in the past and wanted to upgrade our plumbing. Their quote was the best and they were able to complete the re-pipe in one day! Amazing. A few months later we weren't getting hot water and they came out immediately to help. Joe and Jay came out and spent hours diagnosing the problem, which turned out to be due to another plumber's work on our bathroom remodel. It was actually a very complex problem which they were able to figure out - it's obvious they are very good at what they do. They did not charge us for their time and we had the other plumber fix the problem. I would highly recommend them!

Joe and Fernando at BHI are great! We noticed a leak coming from our water heater and within a few hours we had 2 plumbing companies come to our house for quotes. The first company came, looked at our heater for less than 90 seconds and told us that we needed a new one for $2100. They left offering us a discount that could be found on their website and we said we'd give them a call.

Then Joe and Fernando came and saved us THOUSANDS of dollars and A LOT of drama. I offered what I had just heard from the previous plumber, that we needed a new water heater, however after a thorough inspection Joe and Fernando found that we didn't need a new water heater at all. The water heater working just fine, but we had a leak coming from a pipe above the water heater in the ceiling. So, not only would replacing the water heater make NO DIFFERENCE, but we'd still have to have the leak fixed. Joe and Fernando had to do quite a bit of work, but they had the broken pieces replaced and the leak fixed within a few hours.

Joe and Fernando were nice & professional. They take the time to show and explain what the issue is which is appreciated, because if I knew everything about plumbing and home repair - wouldn't I fix it myself?

I highly recommend them and while nobody wants plumbing issues, if we have any in the future we'll definitely be calling them!

Last Saturday afternoon my ac stopped working and I have my elderly mother in the house as well as my 5 month old grandson. After trying a couple of local businesses only getting recorded messages saying they won't open until Monday,I found BHI on yelp offering 24/7 service. They returned my call in under 10 minutes and arrived at my home within 20 minutes after that. They diagnosed the issue, repaired and serviced my system within a couple of hours. The two servicemen Leo and Leo Jr were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. BHI also offers a very reasonable service plan to keep my system working tip top. I highly recommend their service.

I had BHI install a water heater for me, and not only did they do a great job.....they also went out of their way to ensure the area they worked in was actually cleaner, and in much better conditions then they found it in. The service repair guys were professional, Courteous, very friendly and early for the appointment....two thumbs up!!

Stuart the manager / project coordinator scheduled us in right away for a convenient time that worked for us on Yelp! Leo and his helper tech came out, perfectly on-time and in uniform, to find out why our outside AC unit fan wasn't blowing. They both were very professional and helpful, answering all of our questions and concerns. They quickly determined the issue was a bad fan motor. After authorizing the repair, the fan motor was immediately replaced by BHI with a universal part they had on-board their truck. Within approximately one hour and $520 we had AC back on! Now that's fast, professional service!

First off, called property management who I rent for here in Hemet. A company called BHI Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning came within 24 hrs I called, very professional, customer service, and very experienced. Technician Fernando Salcedo was prompt in troubleshooting the issue. My AC is working even better know, thank you.
I honestly would call BHI and request Fernando Salcedo again.

These guys are the real deal! Honest and professional work. We noticed a leak coming from our ceiling from our HVAC system early Sunday morning and were TERRIFIED. Even though our system is OLD, we were not yet prepared to pay for a full system replacement. I was able to schedule everything via Yelp, Edgar and (sorry I can't remember the name of the other great employee!) were there early (called to confirm it was okay to come by early :) ), and did a really thorough inspection of the system. They explained what was wrong very clearly, showed photos, and explained the different options. By the time they left, they had cleaned up the damage, serviced our system, gave us some extra air filters to have on hand, and replaced an important part of our system to help prolong it's life. Seriously, WAY better outcome than me and my husband thought. Everything seemed very fairly priced.

Thank you guys for coming out - we are SO happy to have the peace of mind of the water cleaned up in our attic, and to have our AC back up and running, plus the confidence of knowing our archaic unit will last us a little bit longer until we can afford a replacement. As a final note, I really appreciate that these guys were really kind and did not try to hard-sale a new system to us when we were not ready for one. They were honest about what was in good shape, as well as what was in bad shape with the system, and how having a new system or certain upgrades could help with airflow and efficiency. We could not be more thrilled with the quality of service received. We'll be return customers for sure!
