These people are nothing but a ripoff. $99 to pull into your drive and then he said it would be $515.00 to fix a leak on a two foot section. A couple of elbows and a couple of couplings and they want an outrageous amount. I definitely would not recommend on price gouging alone. I'd give zero stars but it won't let you.

I had a Hendrix air professional technician come out to inspect my system he came down from the attic and he said that my ventilation was old and was leaking air into the attic and needed to be replaced . Quoted me $4,000 plus . A month later I went up an attic to investigate myself. So I climbed and crouched in between the rafters to get to my air system , and upon reaching the output I was hit with a wave of cold air. After doing my research I found out that that was called the plenum box . Which is supposed to be attached to the air handler . It wasn't hanging off halfway and just blowing my air conditioning/heating into the attic for God knows how long . Technician was here 2 months ago maybe and I didn't find this out until a few days ago . But I the homeowner should not be the one who has to climb up through the Raptors to figure out his air conditioning system was seriously compromised . That's what the technician is for . So before you get a quote from any professional , do your own research and find out the actual cost of materials cuz they're not as expensive as what they're claiming . As far as ducting goes . The good part of system leakage isn't easy fix I just learned myself . It's it's just not super easy to climb in between the rafters . That's why this technician didn't find this leak . Cuz he was too lazy to climb through the Raptors and actually do his job for what he's probably making 30 something dollars an hour . Get more than one estimate and if possible do the research and learn yourself .

Hendrix is by far the most professional and helpful hvac company I've dealt with. Recently we moved to Georgia and to our disbelief the previous owner did not completely fix our cooling system. Being from NE we were adjusting the climate difference when our ac stopped working. Hendrix came out immediately and temporarily fixed our problem to make us comfortable. First impressions are no joke! The lady I talked to at the office put me at ease right away. Saying """"oh honey we need to take care of that right away"""" she was the sweetest! A few hours later an associate Joshua came out and again blew me away with his customer service and knowledge. He got back to right away with a quote on options to repair our unit and confirmed an appt for the next day for an estimate on replacing our unit. The next day comes and Justin comes out to our house. Justin was so friendly, and let me say he knows his stuff! Within 20 mins he had come up with 3 different options for us, and educated us on what the difference is between all. He was so professional, helpful and put us at ease that we were making the correct decision. Justin also left room in his upcoming schedule to accommodate us, to ensure in the time between now and when we will have our new cooling system that we are maintaining a cool 68 degrees. Hendrix was the only company we contacted out of 4 different places that came out that day! That gave us the BEST customer service and is ensuring that we continue to stay above melting until we have a real solution. THANK YOU!!! It was a hard to pull swallow but Hendrix made this situation so much better. Congratulations on having an outstanding staff, and prompt delivery of educated solutions. We truly appreciate you!

We took the offer to check our A/c for $99 for 2 units. The tech was late after we waited 2 hours. Within 9 days our a/c quit cooling. It was working fine before the tech visit. Now Hendrix wants to charge us $99 more after stating our new units were in good shape. Seems strange......we shall see.

I have used them for the last 3 years or so. They are courteous and prompt but I have spent several thousand dollars over those years trying to get a coolant leak fixed in my system and it still has a leak. Every season they have to fill the refrigerant though the season before the were paid to fix the problem. Last time when I had them do my 6 month service the tech said he found the cause of the problem which he said probably was the problem all along. I had them fix it but a few months later it is again low on refrigerant and unable to cool that portion of my home on an 80 degree day! I had them do a leak/pressure test a few years ago as part of trying to find the source of the problem then a year later when I had them out to try to fix things again I was told they fired the guy who did my test because they had issues with him. Did he really do the service on my system? They didn't offer to recheck what he was supposed to have done. The said I needed a coil so I had them replace that at significant cost and months later still had a problem. Also they have this three levels of service and prices to fix a problem, """"bandaid"""" and some other levels. This is ridiculous. You contract with someone to fix a problem and they quote three different prices to correct the problem???? What planet are they on? So although they were nice and prompt and I suppose tried their best, after three years and thousands of dollars of not being able to fix my air conditioner to last more than a season I am done with them.

I went online to get some ideas of prices of HVAC systems. Hendrix Air contacted me the next day and we arranged a day to come out to see what we had and what we may need. The gentleman was extremely courteous and very helpful. Once we determined what we needed to do, he also had a wonderful suggestion for financing our system. The next day, they come out and did testing on our system, the day after, they came and started putting in the system. In one week, it was complete. There were follow ups to be sure all was running good. In total we dealt with 5 people in person and 2 ladies on the phone. Each and every one of the people were extremely courteous and helpful. They all answered questions and checked up on us. If you are looking for a good company for your heat and air needs (and insulation), I would recommend the HendrixAir company without any reservations.

We have been loyal customers for at least 7 years. No matter the job or the service required they have provided excellent service at a good price. They we're quick to send someone when we had a problem caused by a lighting storm and we have appreciated having the same service rep taking care of our A/C system because he knows the quirks of our A/C system. So, it was comforting to see our trusted service pulling up to our house after lighting took out the compressor. Hint - We highly recommend their annual service contract. It is well worth the cost and they'll keep your A/C system humming.
