Called on Tuesday while tackling a renovation and left a message. Spoke to Dave later that day and he diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote! Set a time for that Thursday at 9AM. He showed up a 9:05 (which I thought was pretty great for any professional service) and apologized for being late. Dave answered all my novice questions and let me watch over his shoulder as he made the repair; even played with the dog for a bit. Top of my list.

Disappointed. :(
Dave came out quickly and solved the problem (in the short term), but he was more expensive than expected and I don't think he stood behind his service from a month and half ago...
Dave originally came out and pumped out the backed up water and used a motorized "snake" to clean out the kitchen sink pipes. He mentioned that it was about 4 years worth of gunk in there (which lines up with the time we had our kitchen remodeled). When it was all said and done, just under an hour, the charge was $180. I thought, "WOW!" That's alot!", but declined to say anything because I had never called a plumber out to the house before and thought maybe these were the normal going rates. When I told my co-workers and friends what I paid they all scoffed at me and said I was very overcharged for this service. I chalked it up to a lesson learned.
Well, just this week my kitchen sink backed up again. I called Henderson Plumbing again thinking "surely he did not fix it right the first time, otherwise why would it be backed up again in such a short time?". "Surely he won't charge me for a complete service call since he was just out here less than 2 months ago."
Dave showed up and pumped the water out and used the snake again and completed the job in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I was on a conference call with work, so I could not chat with him when he pulled out the bill...another $179.80!!!! I had to write out the check and grin and bear it. I've shelled out $400 for my kitchen sink in the last 2 months!! BTW- I live alone and work a lot. I cook maybe twice a week and I have a "grease" jar that I pour my grease into. Seriously, how could that lead to another full service call in such a short time? Frustrating and disappointing....
Pros: Speedy response.
Cons: Pricey and may not fix the problem right the first time

I called several plumbers when my kitchen sink stopped up, and Dave was the first and only to respond. He scheduled a time to come by, and was on time. I happened to be held up at work and he kindly waited for me to arrive. He checked out my sink and waited patiently while I finished my work call. Then he explained what happened and how I could avoid it in the future.
I highly recommend him, and will be calling him in the future for what ever the gremlins/poltergeists in my house throws at me :)

Of all the contractors I've used in remodeling my house, Henderson Plumbing was by far the most professional and easiest to work with.
I hired Dave to replace the faucet and fixtures in my shower when I was doing a full bathroom remodel. I liked him so much that I hired him again when I did the other shower.
Dave Henderson is a pleasure to deal with, and he does things right the first time. People say you get what you pay for, Dave is worth every penny.

Came out quickly and solved the problem, but a bit more expensive than expected.
We wound up with a backed up sink that was leaking into the space below the sink late on a Sunday night. After trying to plunge it and removing the trap with no success, we decided we needed a professional. I called Henderson Plumbing around 8a Monday morning and he was there by 11a which is a pretty good response time. He was able to fix the problem after snaking the drain twice--he went too shallow the first time. But, $180 to snake a kitchen drain seemed a bit steep.

My husband and I just recently bought a house and did some extensive remodeling, including all the bathrooms. We later found out that one of the bathrooms only had hot water to it. I'm talking toilet, shower and faucet. We had 3 plumbers come by to figure out what the issue was and give us a quote. They all came back around $1k-$2k where they would have to tear up the brick outside and run lines to the bathroom or run new lines from the attic through the wall, etc. What a nightmare!
After reading Dave's reviews on Yelp I decided to call him for a quote. He came over and after an hour of problem solving, figured out a way to do it without tearing anything up. He came back out today and the bathroom is fixed...and at 1/3 of the price of the other guys! I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him next time we need a plumber.

Must preface my review with stating that I hate having anything to do with having either a plumber or an electrician in my home. This is tantamount to getting a root canal. That being said, Dave Henderson made this experience as painless as possible. Having dealt with the world famous torture device of a dripping faucet for 6 months plus a few handymen/plumbers who had devised quick fixes only to have the dripping come back. I was skeptical, but I called Dave Henderson to help me. Wow, he made it seem so easy. He was professional & quick. Very often experience is overlooked or taken for granted. Having had to deal with my own little torture camp, made me realize that it is worth getting an experienced professional to do the job right. Daves customer service is amazing. Will actually sit down with you and educate you about your water system. Not many plumbers are as transparent with their knowledge, or eager to help save you money. Thanks Dave!

This company is wonderful. A (very nice and helpful) person came to fix our leak immediately. I would never call anyone else or recommend another plumbing service!

Dave Henderson came to our house and fixed a leaking faucet.
He was very friendly, quite professional, came on time and did the work for a reasonable price.
Another plumber's suggested course of action would have cost us about ten times as much.
We were very happy with his work and we now have a new plumber!

I had a bathtub that went from slow-drain to no-drain, so I decided to unclog it myself. After plunging for hours and using Liquid Plumber the tub was draining. A week later I realized that I hadn't unclogged the bathtub at all. Instead, I had broken a connection between the drain and the p-trap and it was flooding my crawl space every time I showered.
I called Henderson Plumbing and Dave showed up, crawled underneath the house and replaced the old cast iron p-trap. He snaked the line and my bathtub was now draining properly. The job took almost 3 hours, because he had to take a couple trips to get the right parts, but Dave was very professional and did a good job. I plan on using Dave for all of my future plumbing needs and I highly recommend.
