I am providing no star above for this business. I am currently disappointed with my service with this company. After having him and his workers in my home for two week, the system started okay. He called to ask if we were pleased and we were. When we looked closely, they left areas undone, made holes that were wrong and made new ones (so house is damaged beyond expected work damage), knocked out power in three rooms in my home, a tool of ours is missing, work gloves laying around is gone (belonged to us), botched job with duct work wrapped around poles in my basement, did not seal the return boxes, and only one air filter installed. We learned of the air filter when our sons room started leaking, light flickering, ceiling opened and FELL ON MY CHILD. We called him months before and he never called back. We owed him a small amount after paying him a large amount that he kept changing because he wanted money. Now we called since we have a warranty, a balance, and a problem, and he states he will not honor the warranty. This is a mess. We took money from retirement to pay for this and we trusted him. The ceiling has mold in it from excessive water, my son is displaced, we cannot enter the room, and low funds to fix what he did. Do NOT hire Hempstead Plumbing. Chris, the owner, is not trustworthy, will not accept his mistakes, and will not honor his warranty.

Do not stand behind their promise if something goes wrong after installation. After such good reviews, I decided to take them to install a new boiler for me. Price was reasonable. Chris and his dad seem to be nice at the beginning when we they are in process of installing my boiler. Chris team installed my boiler within few hours. Job was clean and neat. Within a month of installing, I started to see leak on one of the pipes. I decided to text Chris with pictures where water is dripping. Chris responded on my first saying if I see water on the floor and I said yes. After that I sent him quite few texts as when he can send some one to take a look and fix the issue. He never responded. I keep sending text day after day thinking may be he would be busy. But unfortunately no response from him. I gave him few calls and he asked me my address. I texted him but no response after that. So I decided to call his Dad after 2 to 3 weeks of trying, at first he did not pick up then I tried again and he picked it up. He said he is aware of the situation, which was bit of surprising to me and he will send someone next morning around 9 to 10 am. He will give me a call within an hour before plumber comes in. I waited past 10 am then I text him as when I am expecting the plumber. NO Response. I called him and received a message that he will call me later. I would completely understand if he would just text me saying that they can not schedule someone on that day, but nope. lack of courtesy. Called him later of that day around 4 pm but he did not pick up my phone. Now neither his son nor his father picks up my phone. They gave 2 years warranty but it seems like they do not keep their promises. This would be my first and last business with them. Please be aware if you are planning to have them installed anything.

Chris and his team did a Gas Conversion in my home they were far and above professional. The installation team was so efficient I could not be happier. It was a difficult job because it's a multi family home with steam heat throughout. They did both levels with no problem when other companies would only do one level for way more in price, I highly recommend them

Avoid this company. They will take your money and then run. I asked for a 40 gallon tank, a 50 gallon tank which is excessively large for the tight space, was installed. They model they installed is cheaper than the size I asked for. They made money at my expense. The owner Roger proceeded to ignore all my communications. When I informed him I will report him he used intimidation to manipulate me. Didn't work. If you're doing the right thing, you wouldnt need to ignore your customers and you would not need to intimidate/ threaten customers. S greedy, deceptive, unethical business. And I can see from all the reviews I am not the only one.

ROGER will tell you they guarantee the work until it's time to do it. He'll give you the story that he's been in business for 30 years and he stands behind his work. DON'T BELIEVE IT!!
I hired them to install a hot water tank and 30 seconds after coming into the house with no mask the worker starting FINDING problems with the boiler. Telling me I need new valves and I need a water feeder on the boiler. I had to remind them they were there to install a hot water tank. When I said,
""forget it"" regarding doing the work, then everything was fine. They are always trying to make the job BIGGER. The tank was installed ( I had some issues with the way they placed it, but it worked ) Then later the circulated pump went out on the boiler. We had one in the house, my husband is one to keep extra parts to things in the event of a problem or emergency. When they told me the problem, I said, "" Oh, we have one, and gave it to them ( new in the box ). Roger's workers left to purchase another one and told me the one they had is the BEST. They also came back with another worker and charged me for a 3 man job. The 3rd guy walked in my house and said to me, I HAVE TO USE THE MICROWAVE. I said aren't you here to work? I tried to be nice, I said, ""Wash your hands and wait I'll put the tray in the microwave"" He looked at me like I had three heads. We're in a pandemic!. He put his food in my microwave anyway when I was receiving my husband, who was just brought home by ambulance. He sat in the basement in my rocking chair and ate food and I got charged for a third man. Less than 6 weeks later when I had an issue with the boiler, Roger sent the same two guys that told me the chimney needed to be cleaned. When I showed them and proved it wasn't the chimney, then they called Roger, who then said, ""I should have the boiler cleaned"". But that he doesn't do that. I had the boiler flushed and treated but there is still no heat on the top floor. When it called Roger and told him I had the boiler cleaned, but still no heat on top floor, he found every excuse in the book not to honor his warranty on the circulator. I asked him to just send his guys to check the circulator pump they installed. He said that was a manufacturer issue. When I told him, his guys wouldn't use the one I had and told me the one they installed was better, he admitted that made no sense and he wasn't aware of it. I asked them to come and check the pump he told me he would send them to come flush the boiler
( so he can charge me). But originally, He said THEY DON'T DO THAT. Roger told me he would send his guys the following morning. They never came. DO NOT USE THEM. They are not reliable trustworthy company.

This plumbing company is horrible. I needed a new water heater and then within a month, it stopped working. I called numerous times and they never picked up. If I called Chris, he told me to call Roger but still never came and fixed the problem. Says he will call back and never did. Do not hire this company, they will rip you off. They don't care for any of their customers and never even does a good job installing. Who knows, maybe they instal old water heaters.

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The owner is a complete farce and hasn't a clue how to treat people. First hint should have been not to leave voicemails cause he doesn't listen to them and to text. Next, after establishing and making an appointment to work on premise, turns around and states that it was my responsibility as the owner to REMIND him that he has to come to measure for piping etc!!! Ridiculous...he is Caribbean and I support not only local but people from where I'm originally from, but he insists that the job is of my interest and not his..so basically he has no interest in whether he does the work or not! Whoever is hiring him, please stop, he needs to to get off his high horse and recognize that every customer and yes I am a customer, since I've had a boiler installed by him no more than 12 mths ago!! He doesn't need to be bank rolled or funded from anyone, KEEP YOUR MONEY and find another plumber who will VALUE your business and MONEY!!!

I recently had serviced by this company and absolutely satisfied their well job done I highly recommend this company. If you looking for heating problem, must call this company Roger will come right back and service for you best time fit your schedule and prices reasonable offer. No further more shopping necessary he is best and you will be happy about your projects I just replaced boiler heating systems completely Feb. 6,2019 my house one day job was done!!! I tried couple companies quote that never sure and not guaranteed your budget even contracted my oil delivery-company. They are friendly responsible and care you like your brothers This company is deserving 5 star, I just sign up for review comments here Yelper you must know this company for your home heating care.
