I had a service/maintenance contract With Affordable comfort. HELP bought out Affordable comfort, I scheduled my maintenance service for my air conditioning over 7 days ago, my spot time was 10 am it's 9:45 and they called to reschedule because they had too many service calls. I took a day off work to be home for this maintenance call! I would understand if they called me last night or first thing this morning but to wait 15 minutes before my appt? To make matters worse I asked what guarantees that when they reschedule they won't call and cancel? She said they've had to reschedule maintenance appts up to 3 times! What good is making an apt?

I had a problem with my A/C condensing unit not working and was worried that I would have to replace the entire unit. Dana came out promptly within the time period that he said he would be there, and repaired it without any problems; a part needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend this company. I didn't know Jerry Springer was coming to my house this is awesome. My landlord brings her friend a plumber of 20 years to my house for a broken water heater that was leaking inside cabinetry. For 2 days I was out of hot water with my babies in the house. Now there's definitely mold you can smell it. All they did was shut the door and say they're fine after they relate it. They were friends for 20 years she told them that I was not a nice guy so I walk over after the homeowner leaves and asking them what the plan is they tell me that I'm a piece of crap so before they left he gave me attitude . So if you need a plumber with attitude. This is your guy!!

When it comes to heating, plumbing,or air conditioning, you want to call Dana every time! We have called him out for main water line problems, cleaned out main sewer problems, hot water heater replacement, and air condition unit repair. furnace repair, and air duct work. This is important when you own your own home but extremely important when you own businesses. He has never made us wait and is always on time when he makes an appointment. Dana came to the rescue when the dude from Air Mighty Air (see their 1 star review by me on YELP) had an EPIC FAIL! Dana diagnosed the problem and got it fixed in no time after the circuit board came in. Fair price.

Dana charged me $40 on the first visit to tell me I had a leak. Thanks, Sherlock, but that's why I called you in the first place! He said I needed a leak detection to find out the cause. I asked how much that was and he said it was $125. Alright, not bad. Let's do it.

Fast forward to the second visit and he finds where the leak is by opening a wall. I told him about another leak that made the ceiling peel back a bit. He opens it up and takes a look. When the leak detection was done he charged me $250?! I asked why and he said it was $125 before he had to open up the second hole. Thanks for letting me know that before you cut another hole in my house.

So I asked how much it was to fix everything and he said several grand to reroute the plumbing, but he wouldn't really know until he started working. Fair enough, but judging from the poor communication from before I'd rather not.

Lesson of the day: Don't pay someone $ just to tell you something you already know.

Poor estimates. Poor communication. Poor service.
