An amazing experience from start to finish. We had a problem with our hot water heater. They answered the phone, provided information and answered all of our questions, came out to assess the situation, installed a hot water heater, and removed the old one.

This was completed a day before we had family arriving for Thanksgiving!

We chose them because of the great reviews online and they did not disappoint! We appreciate their professional service, especially the ability to get us a working hot water heater so quickly before we had a house full of people!

The owners wife Dotty picked up on the 2nd ring, always a good sign. I explained that my water heater died and needed someone to come take a look. She took a few notes and said she would call back. Nine minutes later she called and told me that their crew was just finishing up in my town and would swing by. Ten minutes later the owner John came up my walk and I directed him to the crawl space, whereupon he emerged 5 minutes later with the verdict: the 12 year old water heater was DOA and leaking. Since my mechanicals are all squeezed into a crawl-space, he would need to locate a new heater designed to fit in such spaces. He spent about 10 minutes on his phone and told me he could have a supply house in Hanover drive one right up. Additionally, he told me an electrician would be necessary to install an emergency cutoff switch and offered his go-to guy if I didn't have one. I didn't and he made the call. An hour later he came back with his helper and the new tank. Meyer Electric out of Swartswood showed up 10 minutes later and both crews went to work.

3 hours elapsed and I was back in business! I am completely satisfied with the workmanship and with the fast response to hot water dilemma. I love that the operation is a family affair and local. I'm lucky too that John has a good relationship with Bill Meyer Electric, who came on very short notice and did the work for a fair price.

You can't ask for more than good, skilled and honest local contractors. I highly recommend them!

As a single mum it felt wonderful to put my full faith into such professionals and nice to know they did look for the most cost effective solution to my issues (2). Having used Heine Plumbing over the last 10-15 years, They were our first call when we discovered a water stain in our kitchen ceiling.
Calling for an appointment was easy as can be. John dropped by the same day and did a great job diagnosing the problem, cut a hole in the sheet rock and discovered a pin-hole in one of the pipes. Shutting off the water, covering the work area with drop-cloths then proceeded to remove the leaky section and replace it. He took the time to clean-up more than we would have expected. John was great at explaining the whole procedure as he was working. Thanks again, John for a job well done.

Chris came to install our dishwasher. He went ABOVE and BEYOND considering there were parts missing and a few other issues with the unit. This was our first time using Heine and because of Chris' diligence, we will be life long customers!

We were very pleased with the work that John from Heine Plumbing did for us. We had a slight problem after he left but he came back as soon as he could to fix it and then went out of his way to find a toilet tank lever that matched the rest of the bathroom fixtures. Would definitely recommend!
