On Labor Day after hours I realized our toilets and bath tub were backing up. Called Heflin and son who dispatched a tech with 40 minutes. They snaked the main line and advised roots were a problem. Was surprised to find out I would get a bill in the mail (and no payment due upon service). A few days later I got a bill. I'm not sure how much this service normally costs but given it was a holiday and after six, No complaints from me! I'll be calling them every sept from here on out!

I guess I should have read that home inspection report five years ago that recommended snaking on a yearly basis to avoid problems....

Contacted Heflin and Son based on a neighbor's high recommendation, as we required some major sewer line replacement. Service was quick (basically next day) and professional, as the crew was well trained and efficient. Took time to leave the worksite pristine. And their equipment was technically sophisticated and well maintained. Carlos-- their lead foreman/project manager was knowledgeable and great to work with, and took time to explain the process as they proceeded. And lastly, their pricing/guarantee, etc. was more than competitive...making them an easy choice for future work.

We're big fans of Todd and his team. When we first moved into our house there were some major plumbing addresses that needed to be addressed. We spoke to three different plumbers and a few things:

1. It worked out that Todd brought the most competitive rate.
2. In terms of trust- We have had Todd and David come to assess issues and they've always been great. They've been honest and real with us.
3. The actual crews have been great. Our first project required significant work tearing up our front yard. I left and there were deep holes to the pipes. At the conclusion of the project, you'd never know they were there as our entire front yard was meticulously rearranged.

Overall- they've been great to work with on everything from responding quick to any calls, to getting the actual work done in a professional manner, to working with us on the back end for billing. I have referred their services to a few different people who have also been satisfied.

We had a sewer pipe burst under our house...major emergency. Called Todd Heflin and even though he was out of town, his crew was over within 30 minutes. We had to redo our entire sewer line and replace pipes under house. They had to dig up our front lawn and did a great job putting the whole thing back together.
From start to finish took 36 hours.

Todd worked with our insurance company (really went the extra mile) to be sure we got maximum insurance coverage on this mess.

Highly recommend...have used him for water heater replacement and minor plumbing problems.

My husband and I are having quite a year as homeowners - and it's a year like this that I'm so grateful for good, solid vendors that I can trust to help ensure that all the money we sank into buying our home doesn't end up in a literal pile of poo.

Earlier this year, we called Heflin on recommendations from a Facebook group for local Westchester and PDR mamas. We thought we had a simple issue of a clogged pipe, but it turned out we were days/weeks away from very old original pipes disintegrating beneath us and leaving us to live over a large pool of sewer water. The Heflin guys came in and replaced all of our horizontal outgoing pipes over the course of a few days, and gave us a competitive price for the labor and parts needed.

Today(!) I called Heflin again because a termite vendor (like I said, it's been quite a year) had seen what he suspected was a leaking pipe under our house. I wasn't sure if the leak was related to the work we had done earlier this year with Heflin, but Todd got a crew out to my house in a few short hours (and timed it around a work call I told him about too!). The leak was a separate issue caused by the same, old original pipes, but the guys had it fixed within a few hours.

I'm super grateful to Todd and his guys for their work, but sincerely hope this is the last call we have to make to them for awhile! :)

I have used Heflin for over a year. Originally, Todd provided excellent customer service with reasonable prices. Moving forward, I will no longer be using his service due to his unethical practices and poor customer service. I will also be asking my HOA to remove him from our vendors list. How unfortunate!!

Look elsewhere. Terrible customer experience.

Although Heflin may have been in business since 1950, it's clear time has eroded their sense of customer service.

As other's have pointed out -- Todd has an attitude and can easily lose his cool. This happened repeatedly when following-up on items promised that he failed to deliver.

Before work began we requested the quote to include a breakout of labor, materials, and tax. Todd was pushy to rush the job, insisting on a flat project fee -- which led to being significantly overcharged.

Todd frequently ghosted via all communication channels and became extremely defensive vs attempting to reach a resolution (check out the hidden one-star reviews below).

Despite our HOA using Heflin for the past 15 years, we won't be working with the company going forward.

We've been dealing with Heflin Plumbing for many years and they have always done a great job for us. Been in business since 1950. How long have the other guys been around? Go with the Pro's!

Wow!!!! Just amazing!!! I called ""after hours"" and much to my surprise got a call back IN MINUTES!!! Todd called, said he'd send his guys within the hour and BOOM!!! 59 minutes later, his guys were knocking on the door... fixed my issue in a matter of minutes and done!!! Thanks Todd!!!!!! Well worth the MINOR ""after hours"" charge!!! Got Todd and co on speed dial now!!!!

Todd and his team are incapable of professional work.

I've called upon this company in the past to redo my main pipe line and they did a wonderful job, I've never had issues with them in the past so I am highly disappointed at the switch in their professionalism. What happened, guys??

The installation of the new kitchen line was not up to code when the inspector came by. This caused a 2 week delay to our project. I am out of the country and our contractors sent photos of the work performed by Todd's team. After seeing the photos I contacted Todd to let him know we may have a problem. Todd didn't believe me, said that everything is up to code. So we waited for the inspector to come by who didn't pass the plumbing.

Todd has been avoiding my text messages, I can't call him.

The inspector asked for his license number to report him to the city, that's how bad job has been done.

The inspector said that a professional plumber couldn't have done this type of work. I was surprised too.

Do not trust this company. Todd is irresponsible like the rest of his team and I am sincerely disappointed to be writing this review. I don't want anyone to experience what we went through, not worth it.
