These days, finding an ""Honest"" plumber is tough! Really tough. BUT, I think YELP helped us immensely. Oh Yes! Our job was simple, yet required some moving of equipment and electrical. We got their bid (we got three actually)
and it was, by far, the most reasonable. Speaking with their office reps (two very lovely young women who were raised right) got the ball rolling. We decided to go to their yard, and whew, was it awesome. Got to speak directly to the owner, Hector, who himself was standing out in the pouring rain along with his men. I tell you, don't you call that DEDICATION to your trade? Your business? Your crew? Your family? And last, but not least, your CUSTOMERS?!
What an outstanding ROLE MODEL this man is. Without compromise.

We can't wait to see the finished job, because thus far what has been done, is excellent. We even came across Hector's Plumbing at the Home Show and true to his word, Hector Jr. came up to the house when he SAID HE WOULD, (OMG! - honesty!) and informed of the next steps to complete the job. WE can't wait!

Hector's Plumbing did an excellent job installing a new water heater. The galvanized pipe for hot and cold water had a leak and several rusted pipes. I decided to go with an entire repipe to Pex and copper. They did an amazing job. All staff were professional, on time, kept all work areas clean, fairiy priced, and available for any questions I had. I will be using Hector's Plumbing for any future plumbing needs I may have.

Read the great reviews so they were my first call, Thursday. Sent my pics by text. Th, no call back. Fri, no call back. Sat, I call. ""Oh, tech was unavailable "". That would have been nice to know on Th. Anywho, tech's quote? $600! for a simple valve replacement. But how would he know it was a simple valve replacement? He didn't text the quote or call me. The receptionist did. I guess just quote me high and maybe I'll just go away. Ok.

Our water heater went out so based on reviews I called Hector's Plumbing. Within an hour, 2 technicians and then owner who is now retired, and his son came to the job to explain everything that we wanted to know. From traditional tanks, tankless, and heat pumps. Now that's customer service! It wasn't a sales pitch because I genuinely had questions, and they answered everything. As it turns out, Hector Sr. installed the original water heater approximately 20 years ago! That was really cool! They swapped out our current 50 gal tank water heater and it took about an hour. If we had the time, we could have installed a tankless, but being a Friday afternoon we couldn't wait the weekend and then another 1-2 days for install, otherwise we would have gone tankless or maybe even with a heat pump. So long story short we just went with the swap out of the water heater. BUT what a great company! Very impressed!! Locally owned and they live in and care about the community. I highly recommend.

Called early in the day to see if I can have someone come to my house & give me an estimate and check out my leak . Spoke to the receptionist Amanda & she was awesome few hours later she had Erick come over to my house check out the problem & fix my leak all in 1hour of time & clean after them selves . I would highly recommend them if your in Bakersfield

Our bathtub faucet had a leak. They asked for pictures up front and were able to diagnose the problem over the phone. A technician came out the same day and fixed it ! I'd definitely use them again.

I would definitely recommend, Hector's Plumbing! Every one of his plumbers are very nice and knowledgeable. Hector came to my home to do estimate and did follow up to make so everything was going well with installation. I got a whole home plumbing, my old plumbing was galvanized. Price was very reasonable his installer also clean up any mess everyday before they left. Office manager Megan very nice. If I ever need a plumber again I will call Hector's plumbing.
