I've been meaning to write this review since December...my husband I wanted to use our heater after Thanksgiving with the first real cold spell and it wouldn't turn on. We bought our house in July and had used the heater a few times to try it out but of course when we needed it the heater wouldn't work. We called Ron the next morning (Saturday) and he talked me through some trouble shooting on the phone and we fixed it! FREE OF CHARGE...I was so happy and relieved and we promptly replaced the intake filter per his recommendation. He was professional, prompt to return our weekend morning call and saved us a service call. I will happily use him in the future and highly recommend him! Thanks Ron.

Heating experts were the only plumber to return my call on Sat. when I noticed my water heater leaking. It took him a while but he made it out to my house to take a look that day even though I told him it wasn't an emergency. He took a look, walked me through my options. I decided to have it replaced. We made an appt. for that Tues. He came out when he said he would be out, replaced the water heater, removed the old one and cleaned up after himself. He even stopped to comment when he noticed we had dry rot around our back door. And he showed me where and how to replace my furnace filter. I definately recommend them.

We had a problem with our old under the floor gas heater. Ron came to our home and promptly fixed the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly explained what could be causing our problem, what he would do to fix the different possibilities, and how much it would cost. Then he went under the house, and found that he could make the repair by adjusting existing parts rather than needing to replace any of them which saved us money. I enjoyed interacting with him and will definitely call on him for any future heating expansions or repairs.

I called numerous heating company's to try to get someone to come fix my noisy heating unit. Most either didn't know how to fix the type of unit I had, which is a hydronic heating system that works off of my water heater or wanted to charge a significant fee just to come look at the problem. Ron was very nice, professional, extremely knowledgeable and honest. He offered to come look at the problem at no charge. He quickly diagnosed a simple fix for the problem and gave a fair price estimate. He arrived exactly when he said he would the following day (despite the fact that he had injured his foot) and fixed the problem with no mess and in half the time I expected. I had a nice conversation with him and found out he founded and owns the business and is a graduate of UC Berkeley. I recommend him and would call upon him again without hesitation.

Ron did a fine job with a situation that had been bumbled up by not one but two other HVAC contactors. He was on time, worked quickly, and was able to listen to my description of the problems and then fix those problems (sounds simple but lots of contractors will work first and ask questions later it seems). He did a good job of explaining the pros and cons of different choices and explained clearly what he was doing through the job. And finally my furnace works the way it should.

I called Ron based on Catherine R.'s review and I fully agree with everything she said. A longtime Yelp lurker, I signed up to yelp just so I could post this review and encourage other people to give him a call.

Ron had to replace my whole heating duct, including the cap on the roof and all the ductwork from the furnace to the roof. This included running it through an interior wall. He was fast, professional and tidy. He was personable and honest. His rates were very reasonable, especially for the quality of advice and work. He didn't sub out the work to some random person, he did the work himself and showed up on-time to both the estimate and the actual work.
