Heat Tek did a furnace replacement for me with the NYSERDA program. They had a hard time showing up of the apt times set for the installation. When the technicians did finally make it they worked for one day and said they would be back the next day to keep working. They never actually came back to finish hooking up duct work to some of the rooms until over a year later.... and 3 room never got duct work. The furnace has been installed for 3 years and already it has major issues. I have been calling the office and leaving messages for over a week to get warranty information/work done and can't get a person to talk to and have not received a call back. Really disappointed with this company for a long time

I had an appt for an estimate 8/11/17 after just listening to what I had to say about a leak and not even getting up on a ladder to look at the pipes I was told that I would have my estimate later that afternoon. Today it is 10/3/17 and after several phone calls to the office still no estimate, was told ""they will be working on it this afternoon"" ""I'm sorry they are very busy"". This is not the way to run a business, if their estimate was $500 less then all the others I still wouldn't use them!

They never showed up for my appointment, after already being an hour late I called to inquire (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) and they said there was a plumbing emergency elsewhere so they couldn't make it. They could have called to let me know this ahead of time. Maybe it was a miscommunication with their staff, but at the moment I can't recommend Heat Tek.

Heat-Tek re-did our ductwork, swapped some pipes and replaced our furnace and hot water heater a year or so ago. Since then our house has been more comfortable and maintains a much steadier tempterature during the winter and our heating bills have remained the same in spite of the fact that we keep the house about 6 degrees warmer on average.

To top it off when a carbon monoxide alert went off in the basement late last spring they immediately sent someone over to check it out and didn't charge us for the trip. These guys are truly awesome to work with and sincerely interested in building a lasting relationship with their customers.

I have been remodeling my kitchen for the last several months. I have worked with many good (and not-so-good) trades people. However, the folks from Heat-Tek are hands down the best! Not only do they do a terrific job, they are responsive, reliable, friendly and a joy to work with.
