Initially, we were known as Williams Air Conditioning & Heating. In September 2013, we became Heartland Heating & Air, operating under Heartland Mechanical Contractors to function as its residential branch.

In the summer of 2020, Mr. Williams discussed the possibility of selling Heartland to JW Huppert, a family friend and skilled plumber. A graduate of Murphysboro High School, Mr. Huppert began his training at Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local #160 soon after. He gained experience in water and sewer main replacement, moved into residential plumbing, and eventually worked as a state plumber for local correctional facilities.

In March 2020, JW and Jaclyn Huppert made the decision to start a local plumbing business called Huppert Plumbing. Mr. Williams recognized JW's potential to carry on the Heartland legacy. Soon after they met, the vision of expanding Heartland Heating and Air to add plumbing services emerged. The expertise and dedication of Mr. Williams and Mr. Huppert resulted in the founding of Heartland Heating, Air, and Plumbing in January 2021.
