I scheduled a complimentary annual air conditioning service that comes with my membership, and when Shane came out, he did not do any of the complimentary services to my air conditioning unit, he refused to clean it and didn't clean the filter outside because I refused to pay for over $3000 of ""bandaid"" services and refused to pay for thousands of more dollars for a new air conditioning unit. I asked him to clean both the condenser out inside and the filters outside to extend the life of my unit and he did not do so and refused to do so. I do not recommend this company. The only good thing about this company is Darryl the plumber.

We had an HVAC guy out and he was very helpful. Then, we needed help with electrical. We had an appointment booked and the electrician called on the day the appointment was booked, saying we had to reschedule. He couldn't come out for another week but we decided to wait and he did come out. He was very helpful.
Next, we had a flood in our crawl space and called Heart. They said they would be out in a couple days. They called on the day they were supposed to be over and cancelled for the next week. We decided to figure things out and waited for the next week. They cancelled again. This was a hardship as the leak was due to our washing machine and we couldn't do laundry. We ended up having to call another company who was more reliable.
We called and complained and were told twice that a manager would call us back. That never happened. We did get a full refund, but we're honestly so disappointed with the customer service. If they would have tried to make it right, we would have continued being a customer. Heart clearly doesn't value their customers and we can't recommend them. They have great technicians on their team that are friendly and helpful, but the customer service is non-existent.

Started as an annual checkup with one of their technicians, Ruben. Ruben was very polite, very thorough, very friendly, and very professional. He pointed out some concerns with our HVAC unit which is 19 years old so we were anticipating having to replace it. Ruben walked the house noting returns and vents, did some magical mathematics and gave us three options for replacement systems. All were reasonably priced and the offered financing to include 18 months no interest. Long story short, Heart Heating and Plumbing is the only company I will use in the future. Their prices were significantly lower than two other bids we had and they use Lennox brand equipment so you know it's top quality. There were other perks too. But the thing I'll remember the most was how friendly, professional, and caring the entire company was from start to finish. The install guys were great too, can't say enough about this company and on top of it all they are Veteran owned and operated! Highly recommend!!

We had Heart come out to install a duplex outlet for a small electric space heater in an attached garage. The technician was personable and knew his trade but the price he quoted for the work was outrageous more than $300.00 I know that tradespeople need to paid fairly, but the cost seemed rather excessive based on other similar work (install outlets) we've had done this past summer.

They keep canceling their service calls! They cancelled this spring's cooler start up d/t staff catching COVID. They canceled this fall's cooler shut down d/t staff getting COVID. That is some remarkably bad luck for their staff. Rescheduled, given a five hour window (7 to noon), waited around all morning then get the call...canceled. No excuse this time just can't come and not only that, they can't come for a solid week. I, too, fell for the year's service plan. So I will give them until next week's appt and if they don't show I'll eat the loss and call someone else. I won't be using them next year.

Heart is incredible. I will use them for ANY project that I have related to heat, AC, plumbing & electric. They did it all. Our AC gave out at the end of summer, so it needed to be replaced. At the same time, I figured that with the aging furnace, aging water heater, and badly set up electric in my garage, that it was time. They came out and did everything in probably, about 16-18 hours total, over the course of two days. They had multiple people on the job (Shane & Justin - installers, Beau on electrical, Ruben as project lead / other roles as well). These guys got it DONE. Everything is taken care of. I have a brand new HVAC system, completely upgraded garage electrical, and new water heater. It was a better price than other place I was quoted and I felt really comfortable with each and every one of their employees. Great Great GREAT work. Highly recommend. Shop around, sure, but I highly recommend landing your decision with Heart!

i was overcharged for a simple sunday under sink fix and stupidly agreed to a maintenance contract to check my heating. i was rescheduled no less than 7 times for a free check that never happened. Technicians never called and at the 11th hour it was always someone got sick can we reschedule. i called to ask for a prorated refund but the check is still in the mail. i had to call them after they said they would call and two weeks later...nada.. i would skip this company entirely. They absolutely fail to deliver on their promises and while it may be a staffing issue they simply do not follow through on anything. If i could give zero stars... i would.

it was misleading for 4.9 reviews on Angi. I think they filtered those are not favor to them. I was misleading by Angi as I saw they got great reviews. My hot water heat stop lighting up. Without hesitating I made appointment with them. They came out a couple days later which was fast and fix the problem by just turning on exhaust switch, $200! Then the tech started to say it was because the hot water heater didnt have a drain leading the condensate water so that it filled up the fan component and cause the fan exhaust stop working. Another thing was the pipes were not installed up to code. Then he charged me $ 800 to replace the pipes and add looping for condensation. After all these done and been paid, I asked if the problem would be navigated. He said there were no condensate inside the fan exhaust component and no guarantee! After I paid ? ! Rip off. Not ethical. I will not use them again.

Women beware! A friend recommended Heart to get a quote for a mini split system. He told me they price matched his quote for a new furnace and AC and lowered the overall charge based off the other quote he got. Well they refused to price match my quote citing things like the original quote I had didn't pull permit ($50-$80 charge) and the difference of brands of the split system. However this friend who may I point out is a man, did get a price match for his AC despite comparing two different brands of units. I really think they tried to upcharge me $2300 thinking they could get away w/ it bc I'm a female homeowner.

Be careful about their claim ""Your time is important - We respect it"". I scheduled an appointment with them to look at my daughter's a/c unit which was not working properly. They booked a 5-hour window time slot (7am -12) for the following week and then the day before the appointment they had us confirm it stressing that if there was any change to call them. Well, unbelievably, after taking the morning off and waiting for them in a hot condo, they never showed. When I called and asked what was up, they said they were running behind and were short staffed and would I like to reschedule.
I don't think so! Needless to say, I was hot (no pun intended). So much for their respecting MY time.
