What can I say? He-man saved the day! Prior to his visit I was charged $98 for another plumber coming in & telling me my disposal needed replacing.He man not only fixed my disposal but felt so bad I was ripped off earlier he did the job for free! Such kindness Is unheard of these days. If you live on the peninsula you would be crazy not to call he-man.

Mike arrived 10 mins after I called him, gave me an estimate before starting, worked quickly and professionally, and did a fantastic job, even making improvements he didn't charge for. Highly recommend him to anyone with basic plumbing issues (he chooses not to tackle complex jobs).

Mike came out and fixed our drain that had roots growing into it. Cost was reasonable and he got the job done. He responded quickly, too. He's not a barrel of laughs, so if you're looking to kick back after the job is done and trade football stories, he's not your guy. But, if we have the same problem again, I'll give him a call first.

I don't know why this plumber has gotten such good reviews. I found him very touchy. I called after reading the reviews, and he asked me to call the next day. I did and he was not available. He asked that I call him again, tomorrow and when I asked why he couldn't simply call me when he was available, he said I should find someone else. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I was taken aback.

After another local plumber spent eight hours at my house without a fix, I decided to pull the rip cord and called Mike. I am so glad I did.

He was here within 20 minutes of my calling on a rainy Tuesday morning. When he arrived, he quickly narrowed down the possible causes of a whole house plumbing issue. (As an aside: Mike is clearly very bright. His card says he has a PhD in engineering from Stanford... and I believe it!) Two hours later, after trying Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C, problem completely solved.

Mike Riley is a real find! We called him on a Saturday morning while he was shopping at a local grocery store. He came right over and snaked out two slow bathtub drains. They work great now. He's licensed, efficient, wears booties to keep your house clean and has fair prices ($120 was the total price for our service). And, if you have an engineering question, he has a PhD in Engineering from Stanford! He's local to Palo Alto/East Palo Alto and specializes in drain cleanouts. By the way, we found him on Yelp.

My mom had an existing slow leak in her kitchen for over two weeks...she was waiting for my brother to fix this for her. Late Friday afternoon, 9/14 she called me in a panic.
