The shop is to be avoided and the owner is not trustworthy. The employee at the end of job told me that the cost would be $400 to clear a clog in a toilet or if I wanted to avoid taxes I could pay him $300 in cash. I declined the cash option as it is illegal to avoid taxes and I needed a receipt for reimbursement. Later that day, I received a bill from the owner for $801.71. After several attempts to resolve the matter with the owner over the last week, he refuses to honor the price quoted by his employee.

As part of my profession, I refer contractors frequently, I will not be referring this company!

I never posted a negative review before but my experience with Robert and HD Services has been that bad! He refused to fix a leaky pipe due to ""non-sanitary"" conditions and 2"" of standing water (caused by the leak) in the crawlspace. Had to scramble on New Year's Day to find another plumber, who did the job and restored water in the house. Long story short, when the bill came from HD Services, they called it ""leak detection"" and charged me an arm and a leg. I asked the office (company is owned in the family, so not much recourse there) for a breakdown to see how they came up with this number, and they refused to provide one. Robert was initially nice to talk to, and responsive, but don't get fooled by this. Their lack of transparency and professionalism is outrageous, I would never trust them with any project.

I contacted HD services for a remodel project August 2022. They scheduled me for an estimate visit two weeks later and then cancelled at the last minute. After several phone calls, they finally rescheduled the the estimate visit. The plumber who did the estimate indicated it would be a week prior to getting the bid via e-mail. After a week and a have there was not bid and I called the company. The receptionist said that they would get it to me as soon as possible but to consider ordering the cabinets to speed the process of booking the remodel project. The company never sent me a bid and after numerous attempts to call them they finally stated that they did not perform a bid and were not interested in doing my remodel. Very unethical and unprofessional. Not sure who the other reviews were from however it is unlikely that those reviews are from paying customers.

Do not work with this company! They were subcontracted for a large project in Seattle and walked the job multiple times with a project manager. We received our quote and agreed to do work but later, Robert came back and doubled the bid claiming he was not given the full scope of work (not true). We agreed to his higher price, though disappointed, and signed the contract to proceed with a start date that was agreed upon. Four days before the start date, we were contacted by an office assistant letting us know that they would not be able to do the work at all because they had multiple employees quit and they wouldn't have the man power to do the job. Incredibly disappointing that Robert sent an assistant to do his dirty work not even a week before the job was supposed to start and of course, it's a major red flag to have multiple employees quit before the holidays. If you want to save yourself a major hassle, don't work with this company.

These guys are the best! I am a contractor and use them all the time ,
They are always on time and friendly and accountable . They have a ""can do and whatever it takes"" approach to every project . They make me a better contractor by being a part of my team.
