We couldn't be more grateful for the professionalism and efficiency of H.D. Johnson. After a nightmare experience with another company that completely botched our radiator and heating system installation--leaving us with leaks all over the place--H.D. Johnson came to the rescue.

Their team not only fixed the mess but did so quickly and thoroughly. They repaired the radiator and heating system in a timely manner, and when we encountered another leak, they had a crew out the very same day to address it.

Their responsiveness and commitment to getting the job done right are truly commendable. If you're looking for reliable heating system experts, H.D. Johnson is the team to call.

Never ever use HD Johnson, they are horrible, incompetent, they send staff who do not know what they are doing, they over charged me to insulate my HVAC, triple charged me. then when I got a leak, sent another incompetent idiot who made it worse AND CHARGED ME AGAIN!!! totally rip off, incompetent scammers... NEVER USE THEM

I have used this company for more than 8 years with great service all around, including for emergency service and complex repairs. They pick up the phone, are thorough and responsive, provide reliable estimates, and come when they say they will. Highly recommended!

We've used HD Johnson a number of times at our home over the years, but our most recent experience was terrible. My office had a clogged kitchen sink so I booked a same-day appointment. I was told a tech would be there between noon and 2pm. I said the noon hour wasn't ideal but was told 12pm-2pm was all they had. So I took it. By 3:30 no one had showed, so I called the office only to be informed that the window was actually 12pm-4pm. Yet, I was told the tech wouldn't be there before 4:15 and the job would take an hour. The only problem is that I had to leave at 4:30. The office staff was nice and tried to address the issue, but there was no resolution. Only apologies. Use another plumber if you have an urgent or emergency situation. I wouldn't trust HD Johnson to deliver.

Maybe HD Johnson was good years ago- but they were recently bought by deceptive people who continue to use the same name. They did not do the work they agreed to in the contract and were very confrontational when we pointed out the problems. It was so rattling that we hired someone else to fix their work.

If you have a steam heat problem HD Johnson is the HVAC company to call.
Over the past 10 years or so my old steam heat system has had several leaks and heating problems that were difficult to pinpoint. HD Johnson did not give up. They kept troubleshooting the issues and now our system works properly. The employees are courteous and professional.

In my basement, I had an old galvanized pipe that started leaking with a steady drip. It was in a pretty inaccessible location between two joists above a duct, and I was worried it would mean a lot of tearing things apart just to get to it. The guys from HD Johnson came quickly and pulled down the minimum amount of framing and paneling to expose it. They could have used a part they had with them, but it didn't fit perfectly so they went and got the right piece and installed it, and it's been dry since. The guys were neat and cleaned up after themselves and they always wore masks and foot coverings. They didn't try to make a major project out of it, and I was surprised how little they charged me for what they did.

This company does excellent work and provides great customer service. We recently needed to replace our tankless hot water heater, which is installed in a very difficult-to-reach location in a closet with our stacked washer/dryer. The company provided a written quote, and followed-up with a visit from a supervisor to answer several questions we had about the quote.

On the day of installation, two Johnson plumbers arrived on time, and took extra care to use drop cloths, masks, and other virus precautions. In less than a day, they removed the old unit and installed the new one, thoroughly tested it, and reinstalled our washer/dryer at no extra charge. After they cleaned up the worksite, a supervisor came to inspect the work and to ask if we had any questions or issues about the project. Our new hot-water heater is working fine, but Johnson provides a two-year warranty on their labor if anything goes wrong, which is not typically provided by local plumbing contractors. Overall, we had a great experience with H D Johnson.

Do not use them!! They overcharged charged us for snaking our pipes, which they were supposed to use a camera, which they don't have. The owner, Dave, is rude and unprofessional.
