We are fairly new homeowners and we were worried about our foundation. Greg showed up and promptly put our minds at ease. He was simply amazing. He is very knowledgeable and informative. He walked us around our home to show us problem areas to look out for in the future and explained that we did not have foundation issues. If we ever do need repair work he is the only one I will be calling

Robert inspected our foundation and reviewed our engineering report.
He inspected the outside of the home and determined that we had no foundation issue. He gave us his opinion about the slope of our lot and some drainage concerns. This company is honest and Robert can be trusted.

Greg Roberts is the most honest man in the business. After doing the foundation inspection on our home he said no repairs needed to be done although another inspector said it needed repairs. A structural engineer confirmed he was right. I highly recommend Greg for foundation repairs.

Robert came out today and inspected our home for foundation issues after we noticed a few small cracks in the brick. He was here about 30 minutes inspecting the outside and the inside of the house. He determined we did not need foundation repair! We had very minimal slope on the west side of the house. Thank you , Robert for an honest opinion!

We had another company tell us we needed work on the south side of the house. They wanted to start work immediately, which was a red flag to me.

We will keep HD Foundation information in the event we really need their work.

It's been a month since Robert, the owner, came down and checked my house for foundation problems, but I still remember his visit as clear as yesterday. If you want a family owned company that is professional and knowledgeable, HD Foundations is where you want to go! I could easily tell Robert is someone who's passionate and loves what he does. He came down to my house explaining his entire process and when he found there weren't any large foundation issues, he proceeded to tell me tips and trick on how to prevent foundation problems. He directed me to visit his website where there were videos that would help me with the upkeep of my home. We proceeded to chat for the next 30 minutes and I could tell he was someone who cares about his customers, regardless of $$$.

Anyone who ever has foundation issues, I sincerely hope you call HD Foundations, a company that I would definitely use.

As before, when we trusted HD foundation to do our repairs, we trust Mr. Roberts advise on some follow up issues now two years later. Mr. Roberts walked in our front door and said he liked our new floor in the front entry. We had redone the floors in a few area throughout the house about five months ago. Wow, what a memory. He remembered us, as well as where we had problems. Upon examination of the house he gave us his recommendations as to what to do. Let me say, we water regularly, but even that is not enough given the drought we are in. His advise was to put soaker hoses around the house. What a pleasant experience to deal with such a professional and knowledgable person. Two thumbs up!

HD Foundation put in a new driveway for me in Plano in 2014. The company owner acted all professional but when it came down to the actual work it was left to the construction crew - the owner seemed to actually know little. The driveway is cracked from side to side at several points almost the length of the driveway. And the HD owner says "there's no warranty and concrete cracks" .... so wonder i'm out the cost of a busted up driveway w/o the job having a warranty - no warranty then the contractor does what he wants. And the multiple cracks started w/in a couple of months. I would NEVER recommend HD Foundations !

Although it turned out we did not have foundation problems, we found HD Foundations to be professional and honest. They were able to inspect our property free of charge...and unlike some companies did not take advantage of us by making false claims on problems that didn't exist. A trustworthy company, something hard to come by now a days. -Thanks HD Foundation!

Seriously impressed.

My search for a great foundation company started with Yelp, Angie's List, the BBB and Google Reviews. After parsing out the top 10 in the area, I then went to the BBB ratings and read the reviews there as well. After ruling out 4 more of these top 10 based on BBB ratings trending down, I had 6 different contractors out to give estimates on our old family house.

When HD foundations came out, they immediately stood out. The president of the company came to see me, not a salesperson. He spoke in plain English, not sales-speak. He is a part of the crew as well; he KNOWS and DOES the actual work on a regular basis.

Of the 6 estimates I got, HD was 2nd to the lowest, and that includes being one HALF the price estimate I got from the highest bidder.

I am one who buys on quality not price, but based on experience with other pier and beam home owners prices for foundation repair, the bid was approximately 20% less than expected. Very reasonable.

I also got a thorough explanation with time set aside for me to ask questions, no hard sales pitch. This guy was more than interested to know what I had in mind for MY house, not just telling me what he would do. This is old fashioned customer service right here.

After weighing my options I felt HD was clearly the best choice, even if they don't have the 'big name'(almost all of those big name guys in the area came out for an estimate, and at least 2 of them, I wouldn't have done business with them for ANY price based on the Talking Head Salesman they sent out).

On work day 1 the crew arrived promptly, and the president walked me through what he had in mind and gave me the opportunity to tell him what I had in mind, too. I told him what I had in mind was the most solid, longest lasting build he could give me. He assured me that I would be happy with the work I would receive.

He took another look around and at that time updated his time estimate; he believed instead of 3 days work he would have me expect 2 1/2 days work for his 6 man crew. He also introduced me to the crew, informing me of his crew boss's time at the business, 9 years, and several crew members who had been with him for 5-7 years. In the 15-20 minutes we discussed this all, the crew had already started removing old piers. I got the definite impression that this kind of work was a no brainer for this crew.

2 days later, they were done. The 1/2 day was not necessary. At the end of the day, they replaced every single pier and beam underneath the house, because it needed it. Even though the contract did not say it was a full replacement, they did the work the long-lasting, heavy duty way.

I have a great deal of respect for that.

I would HIGHLY recommend HD foundation repair and will be glad to call them back should I ever need work again.
