John G.The response time that I received during a furnace breakdown on a Saturday (considered an Emergency Call) was second to none. However, if this happens to you, be prepared to pay premium dollar for the service. It was $120.00 just to show up, whether it be 5 minutes or 60. Any time-charge beyond the first hour will also be formulated at $120.00/hr.
In my case, one issue was the replacement of an Automatic Condensate Removal Pump. I was charged $120.00 for the pump and an additional $20.00 for the removal and replace.
After the job was completed and the technician was on his way, I decided to do a little price comparing of the pump, on the internet. I soon realized that the average cost of the same pump was priced out at around $40.00 at most of the big-box stores.
It's bad enough to pay an extreme, high dollar rate for the service, but to get hosed on the cost of the pump...Well, as the old proverb goes, ""Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..."" Anyway, you get my drift.
Consumer beware.
