I have been using HB Home/HB McClure for 3 plus years. I am a Home owner in York County area. . Recently needed root removal from my sewer lateral. Verne H was great! This team is very professional, answered all questions worked closely with the Public Township sewer team. Communication was great. Professional, courteous and gave plenty of options moving forward. They also put in a new HVAC system in my home this year. HBHOME offers yearly maintenance plans which I would recommend to purchase. Eric W. is their project manager.He was my first point of contact and since I have used them before he had a record of all projects they completed at my home over the years. That is important so they know ahead of time where, what, when then how to approach any problem.
Can't say enough about this company. I have recommended them to several people and neighbors.

Air conditioning system went out on a Friday morning when the temperature was to reach 101 degrees (again). HB Home had technicians at my house by 1:00 pm. They kept us informed as they diagnosed the cause of the system outage. They were able to fix the problem by replacing the damaged, worn out parts and making sure they were not going to fail due to some other possible problem. They were methodical in their identification of the cause and persistent to get the system back in operation, which they did in due course. Charges were fair given the time and number of parts they replaced. Friendly and professional service.

My HVAC went out with an outside temperature of 92°F. I diagnosed the problem and found out that the run/start capacitor was bad. I Calle HB Home service and a technician arrived with a new part. They charged me $288 for a capacitor that is available on Amazon for under $15, that was just the part, no labor. I expect to pay more because of the situation, but not 20% more. I called the service manager during g working hours, he would not adjust the price. Be advised to make sure what your are getting before deciding to engage HB Home services.

Easy online process to schedule. Had a 12-4 pm window. Tech came at 12:15 and did a very thorough job troubleshooting the issue. Took about 1 hour from start to finish.

Nicholas narrowed the time when he would arrive. He got right to servicing the HVAC and hot water tank and covered his shoes while in the house. Overall, I'm pleased with this service call.
