Kara Hoffman Bays contributes her Mechanical Engineering education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She began her career in Florida as a Design Engineer, focusing on the plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, and mechanical systems of hospitals.

Once she gained design and code experience, she moved into construction, serving as the owner's representative for plumbing and mechanical coordination and overseeing hotel kitchen and restaurant installations.

As the Mechanical Qualifier, Gary Bays possesses EPA Certification. He has extensive experience working on hospitals, hotels, airports, and sports arenas in South Florida. He is a member of AWS and oversees the Certified Welding (ASME) and Brazing programs.
