Kara Hoffman Bays brings her Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown to our team. She began her career in Florida as a Design Engineer, focusing on the plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, and mechanical systems of hospitals.

Once she gained design and code experience, she moved into construction, serving as the owner's representative for plumbing and mechanical coordination and overseeing hotel kitchen and restaurant installations.

Gary Bays, our Mechanical Qualifier, is certified by the EPA. He has extensive experience working on hospitals, hotels, airports, and sports arenas in South Florida. A member of AWS, he manages the Certified Welding (ASME) and Brazing programs.
