Poor customer service and failed to finish septic pumping back in November 2016. Paid for the service but was not completed. Lack of knowledge in the field made us blinded to the fact the job was not completed. If you looking for someone you can trust, this is not the guy.

I have had this company do several jobs for me over the past few years and have always been very pleased with the work. They have done septic maintenance, installed new bath fixtures, dishwasher & garbage disposal, and replaced my hot water tank and pressure tank. Prices are great and quality of work is above average!

We had them out on sept of 2015 do a septic and leach bed repair along with water lines ran from the house to the well and it is now July of 2017 and not completed. The health department is now involved and services have already been paid and check cashed without the job done. Worst small business I have ever had to deal with. Many risk left behind including live current laying in water. Permits were required and never obtained before work started.

I own the second Habitat Home in Union County. Hayner's was hired to do the excavating, plumbing and HVAC.
- A/C didn't work my first summer as they ""forgot"" to hook up the wires
- the water spicket didn't work as they ""forgot"" to turn it on
- excavating started in April, 2014 and although they had access to my home for EIGHT MONTHS, they could not finish the heat to obtain a temporary occupancy permit so we had to live in a hotel for a week and took the bulk of my budget (totally guesstimating how much I paid them). I've had to hire an additional company to come to my home to do the excavating after the home was built to try to ""smooth"" out my yard
- most recent complaint sent to BBB:

""After calling this business for MONTHS (and within a year of installation) due to a popping noise in my furnace, a representative came out to my house to look at the problem (I must state here that my furnace is mostly made of tin, which is what makes the loud popping noise throughout my house; and the access to my filter in my furnace is through the overhead which hangs upside down, held by metal tape). Their solution was to replace the filter but it did not fix the problem. I then received an invoice for not only the filters but for $90 in labor as well. I submitted payment in January, 2016 for just the filters stating on the invoice that I was well within my year of installation when I initially started calling; but then I received a call from Steve Hayner upset about my lack of full payment. After explaining the situation, he stated he would send someone out to fix the problem - but no one showed. So in June, 2016 (six months later) I filed a complaint with BBB. Mr. Hayner's response was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional in saying that I'm too demanding, especially for someone who owns a Habitat home (I highly suggest that Mr. Hayner needs to do his homework in what it means to own a Habitat home). His offer of resolution to my complaint was for me to call his office to schedule an appointment; however, that is how this escalated to this point - the lack of responses to my phone calls.

Please, do not call this company for service of any kind. I contracted this company from everything from the excavating, to the HVAC, to the plumbing. Not only do they not take care of their customers after the fact, but they are ruthless in how they treat them as well.""

BBB has now closed this case because in their standpoint, he offered a solution and I refused.
