I do not recommend using this company. I requested service for my sump pump. A technician showed up and shook the pipes around plugged the pump and unplugged it and basically said that I need a new one. Did not even look at the valve which I clearly knew was the problem. Then told me that I either pay $775 for new one or $185 service fee. Service fee is not disclosed on the website nor did he do any service other than just show up at my house. When I said that I would rather buy my own pump he said it would be another service fee of course to install. I felt like I was totally getting ripped off. $185 seems little high for someone to just come out to the house and not even look at the pump.

Quality of their work was beyond horrific , I hired them on Aug 23 to do a faucet change in my bathroom, when I stopped in to see how things were going the very young but polite plumber was not happy I could hear him say "" I should have stayed home , this sucks ... when I asked if there was a problem he said no all good that was at noon by 4;30 he said he was done I went left my home for him to close up , unfortunately I had a wake than a repass so I did call him he said all was good & locked up left the house the easy he found it . 6 hours later 9:15 pm I come home I notice first my bathroom is white in dust from the sawzall could not believe than I realize my basement light is on , so I go downstairs where much to my shock my ceiling was pouring my personal belongs all over cement falling from the ceiling I panicked I called Rich the owner of this plumbing co . He was in bed told me the plumber would be over in an hour I was in major distress I am a widow I have no clue what they did my boss rushes over within 10 min he is here 40 min later plume is still not here I call Rich who lives 8 min away but he tells me I have to wait for the kid , kid shows almost in tears apologizing to Jo end he was clueless as my boss was the one to turn the water off a huge ness my basement was flooded . Much to my dismay Rich says he'll see me in the am very rude , he comes after a call asking what time will he be here soon he responds. Well they show my boss present starts to argue that it was not their fault just a coincidence that my kitchen pipe Burt , boy he wanted the pipe but we did not give it to him my boss & him have words he threatens to leave me with a hole under my sink I'm crying begging to please just finish , he finally shuts up hands me a bill for 1600 for a valve change which turned into a new shower fixture with an inexperienced plumber who nicked my kitchen pipe which caused this mass mess to my home . No remorse no apology. Still today being now September 16 I have had no water in my kitchen Service pro did all the major cleaning machines humidifiers were left here running at my expense for 10 days . Moving forward Rich sends me a text on when I plan on paying him as now I am using my homeowners insurance & told do not pay him . He gets super nasty on the phone threatening to take me to court & now I have no home till October 30 being put up in a hotel for the safety of myself and my dog insult to injury he calls me delusional not one but a few times . Please anyone in despair do not use these guys the same one never show up I used them for my hot water heater over a year ago they actually left the mess as well till I called & his son came to clean it up .. he is nasty rude & over priced .. stay away ..

Very professional. I needed an estimate for plumbing repairs in a hurry because I was selling my house and I got a fair estimate for toilet and shower repairs right away. Very satisfied.

Had my tub and shower fixtures replaced by them. The shower works fine but it was quite some time later that I went to use the tub and discovered the fixture that is supposed to hold water in does not work. I guess they never tested it after installing. Very disappointed in them.

I called Hawthorne Mechanical contractors because my garbage disposal was not working. 2 guys arrived at my home the same day that I requested a service call. One of them put his hand under the garbage disposal, took out an allen wrench and tightened a bolt underneath the machine. He was literally done in less than one minute. He then told me that my bill was $135.00!! Talk about being fleeced. Will never use again and advise that you think twice before contacting them.
