I have used Hawkins Service for my home A/C maintenance and updates for three different homes in Tampa/Lutz for several years. Their customer service is superb. The techs are experts and the price is the best in town. I added pool pump and heater to my twice a year service calls. They keep everything g running great. Do not hesitate to call Hawkins.

If I could do less than a 1 star review for this company, I would. I've been waiting six months for a heater replacement for six months. They finally came out to replace it, and lied to me about what they were replacing. They only came out with a heater exchanger, but the whole unit needs replaced. Now, we are waiting even longer for a resolution.. The management continues to point fingers at the manufacturer and take zero ownership. If you can use another company, I would recommend avoiding Hawkins for sure.

Hawkins has been out a few times to fix some normal pool issues. The are prompt and their prices are reasonable.

I had a great experience with Hawkins on a previous job. They were friendly, prompt and did the job well. Not so much this time. Did ownership change? I called to make an appointment, explained my needs and was told I would receive a call later that day to schedule my work. I waited 3 days and did not receive a call so I called them. Spoke wth a rude woman that acted like I was the one that blew them off. She tells me I'm scheduled for a day the following week, without even asking me if the day was OK, it was not, and gave me attitude for wanting a different day. After some back and forth, I get a day that works for me and was given my time window. Day of the job, my window comes and goes, I even give them an extra 15 minutes before I call. Wow, the attitude I received this time for actually being upset that they wasted three hours of my time was unreal! After being told the guy would be at least an hour late, I cancelled my appointment since I have things to do. They offered no apology. They don't seem to care about your time or money as the tech wasn't even finished on the previous job 15 minutes after my window passed, let alone on his way. All this could have been avoided with a simple phone call by them, but I guess its too much to ask them to care about their customers time. Good luck if you hire this company.

We purchased a new AC unit in August from Hawkins and I noticed it wasn't performing correctly so I called Hawkins for a service check. The receptionist was great and empathetic and would have scheduled a technician to come out that day but we had guests and a hurricane approaching so I asked for a technician to come out Monday. On Monday Jamil Perry arrived promptly and immediately found the problem - a leak in the copper piping causing the unit not to run correctly and the thermostat had not been calibrated correctly at installation. He fixed the issues and reviewed the thermostat settings and checked and educated me on the thermostat app settings. And a few hours later - loving our Daiken AC unit - working great! I love the reliability of Hawkins - we had previously purchased all new pool equipment from them - pump, heater, filter, salt converter and new electrical box and they had to run new wiring to that section of the house. The installation crew was phenomenal and most importantly they service the equipment. Relocating from the north - we had never owned a pool or had central AC, so their sales staff have been great in educating us in equipment selections and all the installers and service people are great. It's important for us to know that they will do the work properly and if we need service or repair that they are responsive and will take care of us. For those reasons we would highly recommend Hawkins and they are our """"go-to"""" for our pool, AC, electrical and plumbing needs.

Had Hawkins out to check on my AC vents due to condensation and poor insulation. Scott C was super informative and helpful. He explained to us what we could do to fix the level of humidity in the summer and what we could do to reduce the temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs in the winter. Highly recommend Hawkins for all your AC needs.

I would definitely recommend Hawkins for service. They are on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Had a svc call today regarding my pool. Eddie the technician was very professional and knowledgeable and advised me on some things to look into along with also fixing my problem I had with the pool. Thanks again Eddie and Hawkins!

The installation of my Paradise grill unit was very well handled by Hawkins who first came to evaluate the job and prepare the quote. Contrarily to other contractors who could only do the water connection of the sink or the gas connection of the BBQ. Hawkins is certified to do both types of connection. They maybe not the cheapest but their personnel is knowledgeable and very professional.

pool PC board problem Nick Becker drew the low card and was sent to fix my problem , showed up early, got a notice he was ahead of schedule, looked at the photos I sent before getting here and found the multiple problems , resolved them on the spot and sold me a maintance program for future issues. rate him a 10 out of 10, and superbly skilled to go with his customer service. I would hire him for my business in Chicago but he doesn't like the cold. 10

I need a pump for my pool and I was told they would get back to me. Two weeks later they finally decide to text me..I know alot of people are in line for their business because of back to back hurricanes but come on, I guess I'm not worth a 30sec. phone call? I told them exactly what pump I needed and was assured the tech would have everything on his truck that he needed. The day he was to be here he didn't show up so I called and again was assured he had everyting on the truck to replace my pump and was just running a little late. The serviceman was very nice and no complaints about him but now we are waiting almost another week for them to come back as he didn't have the right size pump. I only called them because they were the ones that put in the original pool and now I am stuck. They will charge me (for coming out) if they don't do the work and I am being charged about $700. for this pump that costs $300. and could have spend $502. to have pinch-a-penny do it. DO NOT TRUST HAWKINS AT ALL!!!! Unless you don't mind being lied to and way OVER_CHARGED.
