I originally hired Hawkins to install the gas line for our new pool heater due to recommendation from Teco. I was actually glad to find a single company to service different utilities (gas/elect/hvac/pool) and avoid hand-offs / finger pointed when dealing with multiple contractors. I have no complaints from the original job. Tommy / Carlos and crew were great to work with and handled the few minor issues that came up quickly and professionally. We passed all inspections and the heater is up and running. However, months later I contacted them again due to an issue with my A/C (gas) furnace not lighting. I was informed that they only work on the plumbing and not the appliances / equipment. A bit disappointing since info on their website seems to indicate otherwise. I will have to start over to get a separate company to work on my A/C and hope it's not related to plumbing / prior work. It's still not clear what issues they will / will not handle.

Purchased a solar pool heating system one and a half years ago from solar solutions. Tim's selling point was their 12 year warranty. 1 panel flew off my roof ultimately damaging tow panels. SURPRISE!!!! warranty does not cover damage from wind. Checked the weather service high winds were 18mph the day this occurred. $750 for a new panel and $250 service call. Still down 1 less panel and no responsibility taken for a lousy installation. Two of my direct neighbors have the same exact system installed by solar solutions and they have no damage. Tim says the wind doesn't effect everybody's installation the same, I agree it only effect the sub-par installations. Many solar pool heating options out there, keep looking before signing with solar solutions.

Had Hawkins out to check on my AC vents due to condensation and poor insulation. Scott C was super informative and helpful. He explained to us what we could do to fix the level of humidity in the summer and what we could do to reduce the temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs in the winter. Highly recommend Hawkins for all your AC needs.

My pool pump stopped working, so I called Hawkins and was lucky to have Randall as my technician. Very professional company, and Randall was the best tech I could've asked for! He troubleshoot my circuit, showing me how he knew the issue was with my pump and was able to get a totally done within an hour or so. Definitely ask for Randall, can't go wrong!

pool PC board problem Nick Becker drew the low card and was sent to fix my problem , showed up early, got a notice he was ahead of schedule, looked at the photos I sent before getting here and found the multiple problems , resolved them on the spot and sold me a maintance program for future issues. rate him a 10 out of 10, and superbly skilled to go with his customer service. I would hire him for my business in Chicago but he doesn't like the cold. 10

Don't waste your time or money. Receptionist was pleasant and provided the service I am used to with Hawkins. I've been a loyal customer going on 10 years now. Every technician that has come out was great. I even recommended Hawkins to neighbors who utilize them as well. I ended up on the phone with a store manager. She was very defensive, unprofessional and unconcerned about questions I had about an install. They lost a long time customer today and I hope my neighbors do the same.

I would not use this company ever again. The tech was told to tell me from his boss that we needed to replace TXV valve in our pool heater. That part is a $150 part then he proceeded to tell me it was a $3,000 fix to replace it. The pool heater is only 6 years old and I paid $3500 for it. I told the tech to forget it. After he left I turned it on and in 2 hrs my spa temp went from 62 degrees to 102 degrees. There is nothing wrong with the TXV valve. What is wrong is a repair company trying to rip off a senior citizen. I won't mention the techs name because I think he was only doing what he was instructed to do by his superior. Do not use this company!
