After no air for 2 weeks and we got the run around from another local ac repair person, I called the manufacturer of the AC unit. I was given Mark's name as a person of high integrity and knowledge. Mark had the unit diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours. The first person said it was a coil and it was not. Mark saved us $1000. Highly recommend him!

Mark & his team really came through for us...two other contractors said the unit was dead and wanted to sell us a new one...Hawkins found a faulty wire and repaired the system. This isn't a """"family business"""" that has grown into a big business with scores of employees, but rather is a small family-owned business (Mark & Steve Hawkins) that understands how important it is to provide quality personal service in order to gain and keep customers. As a result Mark & Steve were the ones under the house sweating and getting the job done. They were able to install a completely new heating / cooling system for me in one day and provided a quality product at an excellent price. I give them my absolute highest recommendation. This has to be one of the best heating and air conditioning contractors in the Greer SC area! After losing our air in the middle of the July heat wave and being given the run-around by the """"home warranty"""" company for ten days, we decided that to expect them to do anything other than attempt to patch it up with nickle and dime temporary """"fixes"""" we finally called Mark Hawkins, who came out that same day to check it out. By the next day, we had his quote and another one from a different contractor. His quote was $2K less than the other one so we accepted it; his crew was here two days later and installed an entirely new York A/C system (in and out units) within less than four hours. The best part is that, after two months of flawless performance, it is clear that it is a superior product, much more efficient than the previous unit ever was (rendering the """"auxiliary unit"""" -- previously used to cool an upstairs bedroom-- unnecessary).
