I have lived in key west since 1985 and this was the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber or any other service for my home. I had a shower that didn't have hot water and called haskins to come take a look to see what the problem was. They sent 2 people to LOOK at my shower. they never touched anything,never did any anything. the one technician said this is a 10 hr job and we need to remove all the tile. This took no more than 5 min. the other tech didn't even say a word or do anything. I said okay I will need to think about this since it would be a $1000 job. they said the wouldn't bill me. I received a bill for $185.00. this is the worst rip off I have ever experienced in the 35 years i have lived here. I asked for the number of the owner i could speak with via email and no response. I could understand a standard service call of maybe $75 but $185.00 for five minutes?? I don't know an attorney that charges that much. there was no need for 2 people to come to look at my shower. it was just a way to over charge customers I guess. be careful if you call this company and ask for the price of a service call if you use them so you know what you are getting into.

Find another plumber! There are plenty of other choices on Key West who actually show up and have much better customer service. After they were an hour late, I called several times without anybody answering the phones. Finally, a lady picked up the phone and I explained who I was, and that the tenant had been been waiting an hour past the window of time we were given. She said they were busy and I said that I understood that stuff happens but a phone call would've been great since our tenant has been waiting. She then said that we should find another plumbing company and hung up!!!!
