I can see why people don't like these guys but my plumber came on time, did his job and left. They aren't going to have customer service but just get to the point of the issue and leave. Expensive but fair price if you see how expensive tools are lately.

They came back to repair shoddy work done previously, broke something else while they were here, and were rude on the phone when I called them about it.

Very poor customer service after work done March 2020, installed new hot water heater. Gas went out this week, pilot light needed relighting. Following the instructions affixed to the unit, also googling and YouTubing for guidance. Tried to relight but the striker (part that creates sparks) isn't producing sparks...hence, can't light. Called multiple times, different days. No answer. Left messages none of which were returned. I get that we're in a pretty serious winter disaster so I was patient. Called today, receptionist answered. Told what I needed, she stated, "I have another call I'll have Harvey call you right back." And, that was that three hours ago. Will never hire them again, and will spread that word far and wide.

Do not use this company. We bought a fixer upper and got taken advantage of by this company. They charged $5000 for: repair the drain pipe from the toilet upstairs, fix 3 leaks (bathroom shower, both bathroom sinks), install/move the washer dryer to inside from the garage, and add the water heater pan drain pipe that was missing.
Detailed list of issues:
-water heater drain pipe was put on the outside of the house because "it's more expensive and difficult to go through the walls" (half of which were already open and we have since opened the rest of them anyway) We ended up paying a handyman to replace the pipe Harvey West installed and put it inside the walls so it's not an eyesore. This took the handyman about an hour.
-Not sure if they did this, but they definitely should have mentioned it when they saw it if they weren't the ones who did it because they were working right there. We found a flexible stainless steel hose connecting the copper pipe under our sink where they had repaired a leak. Our friend (a general contractor) let us know that that is improper for anything that is pressurized inside of walls and would cause many issues. So we had to replace that.
-Our washer dryer lines were done using PEX piping. They placed these flexible pipes RIGHT in front of/on the single access hole for the attic, so we have to make sure to move them and step over them when we enter our only attic space that we can use for storage.
-We are now replacing the entire toilet drain line because most of it is cast iron and would just rust through soon enough anyway. A good plumber/handyman will tell you this kind of thing when you have a bunch of walls open.
-$$$ Everyone that we've talked to since we hired this company has scoffed at the price. And I have to agree. The quality of work that was done in comparison with the price that we paid (we didn't know better at the time) is pitiful. There was some spots where we were supposed to call them back to put the finishes in. I do not trust them enough to call them again to simply reattach the sink to the pipes.
-The master plumber kept going to his shop for like 45 minutes at a time (it's only about 8 minutes drive from our house) several times a day while the people he seemed to have hired for the day did most of the work.
-They did not clean up before they left and they left blue pipe glue on the tile and walls in the bathroom.
Summary: Save your money. Call a handyman or literally any other plumber.
*I'll try to add pictures later when I find them so you can see the work I'm talking about.

I've used Harvey West Plumbing on múltiple occasions except on my last recent project and I was satisfied with their services. Their fees are pretty much set and no hidden cost.

The two men who installed the water heater were excellent and patient. Installing a low boy unit in a condo is not an easy task. They did an excellent clean up during and when finished. It was a pleasure working from them from beginning to end. Great price too!

Plumber showed up on short notice to quote me for some work to repair a gas leak. I was then able to get an appointment scheduled for the next morning to get the repair completed. Their pricing was competitive and the work was done as expected. I would recommend Harvey West Plumbing for any plumbing needs. I had a very positive experience.

We had our sink drain stopped up and called West Plumbing Company (Harvey). We were told they will be at hour house in about an hour or two and one person (Larry) showed up on time, which we felt was a good sign. He proposed a price of $253 expecting that it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours to fix the problem. After about an hour work using various types of snake tool he said that he could not reach the problem area and that the job was going to take "a whole day", because he might need to make holes in the wall and now the cost to us was quoted $1300 !!!!. By this time everything under our sink was a mess, a lot of very dirty stuff was in a bucket from the snake job and we questioned the high cost, but again we were told that it will be a lot of work ("all day").We were really pressured to accept or "else" and we felt we had no choice... It is true that he did some small cutting on the back material of the cabin and attached sheet rock plus the metal tubing, but again he used a snake from the new opening and all was cleared up!!! The time of work was a little over three hours (including going to Home Depot for a few minutes, that took over half an hour). So, it looked to us that we paid about $425 per hour for labor work, because there was costly material involved. We feel the cost should have been around $500 dollars, because he came at 9:40 and left before 12 o'clock !!!! The work was done well, the holes on the wall were left open and we feel were were taken to the cleaners!!!!

We had a shower not getting hot water after a remodel. They were quick to get someone out. Leo, our plumber, was friendly and efficient. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed quickly at a very fair price. We know who to call for our future plumbing needs

Fast response. Fair price on hot water heater replacement. Charged $250 for a 30 minutes drain clog removal which seemed a little high. Guys we friendly and polite!
