Just want to give a huge thank you to Shadow @ Harvey Baker Plumbing, Inc. My wife and I came home to wet floor boards and moisture everywhere. Shadow came out after hours on a Saturday, diagnosed the problem, which wasn't even plumbing (our AC condenser has died :( ) and explained what we needed to do. Then he chose to comp. the call 100% for us due to the quick time of service. Once again, this was at 8PM on a Saturday! I know I won't be using any other plumber in the future. I've tried others but this is by far the best experience I've ever had with a home service company. I strongly suggest skipping others and trying them first.

This is the second time we have used Harvey Baker Plumbing. Both times we have had simple requests, but I would recommend them based on how quickly they were able to fit us in (Marcia even called to say they had an earlier appointment come open), the professionalism of the tech who came out (both times very polite and efficient), and what we think is reasonable pricing (let's face it, if you aren't doing it yourself you have to pay for someone's time to come out and make the fix). Will use them again if the need arises and would recommend them to friends.

This is a great family business! We always lean towards family businesses to stay away from the drama of larger corporations. I first called Harvey Baker plumbing after we remodeled a bathroom. When we got ready to install the shower and tub fixtures, the valve needed to be replaced, and it was kinda rigged in, so instead of risking a disaster, we called to have a pro come out. Marcia was great, asked all the right questions, was knowledgeable, and set up an appointment within two days. Shadow came out and saw that the previous valve was completely rigged, so he asked if I would allow him to do what he needed to ensure that it looked great and worked the best possible. He actually had to go in to the master bathroom and cut a hole in the wall to work from behind the shower wall of the remodeled bathroom. This was awesome as it didn't involve any damage to the shower tiles in the renovated bathroom. I couldn't have been happier. I also had arranged for him to put the new fixtures in to include the drain, overflow thing, shower head, faucet, and tub spout. It took under three hours and was flawless! I really appreciated the care he put towards the bathroom since we had already put so much time into it. Fast forward a week and a half and we called again, this time for a toilet issue in our Oviedo house. I dropped plastic down the toilet in December, and flushed it rather than get it out. It was an odd shaped plastic contraption that we couldn't snake out on our own. So, we called Harvey Baker Plumbing and they had an appointment within two business days. Even better, the day prior to the appointment, Marcia called saying there was a cancellation, and asked if we wanted the plumber to come out then. Unfortunately, I was not home, so we had to stick to the appointment the next day (the whole point being, how great is it that they offered someone to come out sooner than expected??). Shadow came out again, right on time, and it took him about 25 minutes to solve the dilemma of the plastic piece in the toilet. He actually had to remove the toilet (which we couldn't do because it was mortared in). Another great, quick, efficient, and fair priced job. Harvey Baker plumbing is now on the list of local professionals to turn to when needed. I would recommend them 100% to anyone needing a plumber.

I really wanted to like this company, based on the other reviews, but I didn't have a positive experience. The scheduling department was very nice and accommodating. I called on a Wednesday and made the appointment for a Monday (most convenient for me and was not an emergency situation). However on the day of the appointment, the technician called at 8AM to say he needed documents faxed to him regarding the parts for repair (for a small commercial business). The appointment was for 8-10AM. It's unprofessional to call during the time of the appointment to ask for paperwork that could have been requested when the appointment was made, or at any time during the 3 business days leading up to the appointment. I can't vouch for their work because it didn't happen, but I'm disappointed with the lack of organization.

Called Harvey Baker plumber today after my """"go-to"""" plumber unsuccessfully attempted to clear a blocked branch line via the roof vents. The previous plumbers came out hopped on the roof, ran 75' of cable down the vents, allegedly reached the septic tank and declared """"its your tank, you need a pump out."""" Collected their $175 and went about their business. Trusting the diagnosis of professionals I arranged for a pump out for the following day. After doing some routine trouble shooting, (accessing the septic tank lid) and determining that the kitchen sink could flow effortlessly into the septic tank we determined the tank was fine and didn't need a pump out at all. We had an obstruction somewhere from the master shower / toilet branch line into the main line. (Both bathrooms were affected after the vent snaking) Rather than deal with the original plumbers who couldn't fix it the first time, I contacted Harvey Baker plumbing first thing in the morning and got Marcia. She was very sympathetic and knowledgeable to my situation. Unfortunately they were booked solid but she'd put me on the schedule for 1500-1700 and if there were any cancellations she'd send someone over. I was thankful to get same day service and thanked her. As luck would have it, she called me back within 10 mins and had a guy available due to a cancellation and the tech would be over in 30 mins. Elated, I waited until plumber Gary and another fellow arrived. I relayed the situation and what I wanted to have done and they got to work. Our suspicions were confirmed and Gary went to work dismantling the toilet to snake it out. I monitored the opened septic tank and could hear the snake making its way to the main line. Eureka! There was a decent flow of nasty making its way into the tank. Success! Gary investigated the other entries to the main line, confirmed we had all branches cleared and reassembled the toilet with a new wax ring and John bolts. I secured the septic tank lid and we wrapped it up. I really wanted to include a clean out on the main line for future trouble shooting and maintenance and we were able to get that done as well. If you don't have one, get one. A Lot of your plumbing issues can be solved with a clean out installed. All said and done, the work performed came in cheaper than a pump out that wouldn't have solved anything except relieving me of another $400. 100% completely satisfied with Harvey Baker plumbing from start to finish. They're an incredible team that earned my business and made Harvey Baker Plumbing my new """"go-to"""" plumber.

We had a high pitched squeal that happened anytime we ran any water and at other random times that we couldn't figure out. When Harvey Baker came out, the 1st time he heard the squeal he identified right where it was and fixed the issue. Fair price, on time. Would recommend to a friend.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. I tried and couldn't fix my self and I am pretty handy. Called around 5:30, gentleman showed at my home an hour later. Courteous, and professional! Fixed it in 15 mins!! Price was just fine for after hours. I've paid more from other guys during business hours for same type problem!! In a nutshell if you need a plumber, call these guys!! Happy customer..

Just had the kitchen sink unclogged @4:15 PM on 5/6/2015. Two gentlemen came to do the job, I showed them the sink with the drain already open for easy access. The drain was snaked, clog cleared, pipes hooked up and job completed. time on the job less than Ten minutes. I asked how much to make the check out for and was told a breath stopping $180.00. That is WAY too hi. I should have asked before requesting service, but I was under the impression it would be fair and reasonable. Boy was I wrong even taking into account travel time involved. $180.00 for ten minutes of work and not even breaking a sweat. I am very sorry I called Harvey for service and you can be sure I will not use there service in the future.

Definitely recommend using this company. Always friendly when they come out to service. Family business that truly cares for their customers. You not only are paying for the service but also a job well done.
