Lance was responsive initially and provided peace of mind when he identified our clogged kitchen/laundry drainage problem and recommended a solution to replace a portion of the line because the different-aging pipe materials was creating leaks. However, when he started work on Friday morning and left to go find a part, he didn't return. He didn't respond to any texts or calls when I was trying to just know if he was coming back that day or returning on Monday. I thought he would at least return to pour some ""enzyme"" down the drain to mitigate the problems from the clogging, but I guess he had already decided that he wasn't going to do this job without informing me.

All weekend, I was left with a clogged drain, unable to wash dishes or do laundry. I called Monday morning to see what time he would come in, and he told me ""he does not do sewer work"" and rushed out of the call, leaving me hanging.

Reading the other reviews, I'm sure he does great work, but I hope he does a better job communicating with his clients in the future. I would have liked to have known from the get-go that this was a job that he does not do, rather than see him start work, say that he needs to get a part to continue work, and then bail.

In the time of COVID, he wore a mask. 2 stars.

If you want a job done right, contact Lance at Harvery and Sons Plumbing. We hired Harvery and Sons Plumbing to repair a leak and replace all bathroom faucets and lines in our home. Excellent service!!! Lance and his sons were very personable, and punctual. He also saved us a lot of money compared to the quote we received from Bonnie Plumbing. Love being able to give work to small businesses.

I can't recommend Harvey and son plumbing enough! I used them about 3 weeks ago to install a toilet that I had purchased from Build.com that I was going to install myself. Time constraints didn't allow me to get it Installed. I emailed several plumbing company's and no one responded when I told them that I already owned the toilet. If I wasn't buying a toilet from them they didn't want to do business. I called Harvey and Son plumbing and spoke to Lance who was up front and honest with me on price and what should be done. They came out and installed the toilet and let the bathroom spotless! Thanks so much for such outstanding service.

Superb experience today! Good, fair, honest estimate. Polite, professional and excellent workmanship. Lance (the owner) and his son Joey did an awesome job replacing my water heater, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and the handle in my shower. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently, kept me abreast of their progress and explained the finished products when they were done. A great experience with a local business! I highly recommend using them for your plumbing needs. I will definitely use them again for mine.

I called Harvey And Sons this morning as I had a leak from my toilet line. Lance asked if it was an emergency and if not he could be out this Afternoon. A few hours later he called and he said he was on his way. Lance was very personable and I could tell he knew his stuff. I had bought the wrong part to repair the line but Lance had the right part with him. He quoted me a very fair price. He repaired the problem very quickly and I paid him extra as He did me right. I have had experiences with other plumbers who charged me up the ying yang. I have a new plumber now and I highly recommend them. Harvey And sons Plumbing receives the Freebyrd Seal of Approval! So, I am fairly shocked. I got a call from someone at the company this afternoon regarding a call I suppose I made a week or so ago regarding getting a water heater replaced. I found someone who would do it a bit sooner (how would you like to be without hot water for a couple of weeks waiting for a return call.. and, yes, I get it was between Christmas and New Years...), and I told this to the person. He then said, ""Ok, well don't bother calling me again."" At first, I wasn't sure I heard him, as most people would say something like, ""If you'd like help in the future, please think of us,"" so I asked him to repeat it. He did and added that I called him three times. Well, I didn't. I don't even remember calling him at all. Perhaps Home Depot called him on my behalf. In any case, he took it out on me. I can't comment on the quality of their work, but I can comment on how I, as a potential customer, with multiple rental properties and someone who's always looking for good service companies, was treated.

Another amazing experience with a local small business! I hired these guys and Lance Sr. came out quickly. Prior to coming out, he gave me an excellent quote which was really reasonable and fair. My request was to have a plumbing fixture removed and replaced with one that I purchased from Home Depot which was an upgraded fixture. When Lance got to our place, he looked over the new fixture and noticed that the threads for securing the fixture weren't fitting properly. He calmly advised that I return the item and quickly offered to not charge me for the visit. I countered, making an attempt to pay him as I appreciated his gesture and honesty, which is a challenge to find nowadays. He still insisted, and even offered to return when the new item was in my possession and he would only charge me the original quote! This guy spent money on gas and wasted a little time coming over to my house and was cool as a cucumber, making sure to take care of the customer and instill confidence in me that he wasn't about just making a buck.

After he left, I returned to Home Depot to exchange the item. Once I had the part in hand, I called Lance and he quickly arranged to return to my home and complete the work. All of this, from original quote to completion, happened in the very same day. There have been no problems with his work since installation about 10 months ago.

Integrity means a lot to me, and Harvey and Sons is all about integrity. You will not regret supporting this small business. They'll look out for you.

Called and spoke to Lance about a price quote for some work I needed in the bathroom. He made an appointment to come out the next day but he didn't show. After several hours waiting, I called and left a message to call me. He didn't call back. Not very professional in my book. Be forewarned.
